A match-three puzzler for the PlayStation Vita that's free-to-play but not entirely ruined by cash-grabbing mechanics. PlayStation Country let you know why, surprisingly, it's actually worth a download.
Carl Williams writes, "Fat Princess is one of those games that either pissed people off due to the naming nomenclature used and they never checked it out. Or, people got over the name and played the game on their Playstation Portable (PSP) or Playstation 3. While I won’t bring up the ignorant underlying tone of the “fat” princess and how, in those games, I will do my best to focus on the actual gameplay. Just let it be known that I do not agree with the lack of culture based understanding of the developers/publishers. Otherwise, there is a pretty good match 3 game underneath, too bad most people will not be able to enjoy it due to the name attached."
Rescue the Princess! Fat Princess: Piece of Cake takes the comic medieval battle royale to the next level with a brand-new free-to-play strategic match-3 game. Charge into battle with 4 different character classes! Make matches to smash through the blue army! Collect gems to upgrade your troops! Feed cake to the princess to unleash her devastating slam attack! Trigger massive combos and save the kingdom!
Includes a Bonus PS3™ Game!
Review for Fat Princess: Piece of Cake on PlayStation Vita. Will the princess finally get her just desserts? Fat Princess has had a few incarnations over the years and this installment sees her royal plumpness in a freemium match-three puzzler. Although this may set off a few red flags, its clever utilization of RPG elements makes it quite an enjoyable experience. However, the question remains; is it worth sticking around for dessert or should you cut this meal short?
