Episode 7 of indie games digital magazine Grab It has just landed on the App Store and it features a stack of world exclusives, led by Tiny Troopers Alliance and Midnight Star making of features.
WTMG's Leo Faria: "Despite being little else than a port of a mobile game, Modern Combat Blackout is quite enjoyable, especially if you’re craving for a more traditional FPS offering on the Switch. It makes up for its underwhelming visuals, framerate, and campaign mode with a decent multiplayer and great controls. It gives me hope for future Gameloft endeavors on the console, as well as alerting Activision that you can make CoD-like shooters work on the Switch. You’re losing the race, guys."
The Nintendo Switch finally has a military shooter with Modern Combat Blackout! How does it stack up compared to the likes of Call of Duty or Battlefield?
Short Pause: "Check out the first two missions of the Modern Combat Blackout campaign as well as a few rounds of its multiplayer gameplay."
Can't wait for Midnight Star, the game sounds amazing and the video footage looks great. From the guy who made Halo, too.
Midnight Star looks dreamy. Another ripper issue
I hadn't heard of tiny troopers until this. Colour me intrigued. Thanks for the heads up.
I have a dream that one day something like Grab It Mag will be weekly, and I can start a weekly Sunday morning routine of wake up, make coffee, download this week's Grab It and read leisurely about the week's news and reviews of the world of iOS gaming
