Come on he's got hair, he's supposed to have a BALD head, you know, like he has in the games

-Foxtrot3550d ago (Edited 3550d ago )

They hate staying true to the source material...it's Hollywood.

Although little fact....Rupert Friend was quickly added when Paul Walker who was supposed to be Agent 47, passed away

Either way they were both bad choices

Rupert looks like he's playing dress up.

Hellsvacancy3550d ago (Edited 3550d ago )

Do you think Hollywood will give Nathan Drake a ponytail and a hat for the Uncharted movie

How hard can be possibly be to copy one thing from the source material, his appearance

DevilOgreFish3550d ago (Edited 3550d ago )

-Foxtrot - "Rupert looks like he's playing dress up."

But 47 loves to play dress up too. It's 47 disguised as an actor playing the role of 47.

Lol I wouldn't be surprised if in the next movie they cast Channing Tatum

XD

Deadpoolio3550d ago

You do know that generally unless your balding your head will typically ALWAYS have some sort of five o'clock shadow correct?

Hellsvacancy3550d ago

Oh yeah I forgot it's hard to make someone bald who isn't already bald http://static.comicvine.com...

Why not Timothy Oliphant? I loved him as Agent 47. Dude was ripped and had a wicked pissed-off look about him.

Ps- the new and relatively unheard of director does not bode well either. :(

Rock-Lee3550d ago (Edited 3550d ago )

I agree!

Plus Timothy Oliphant has a certain coolness factor, that I find very...... cool.

Razputin3550d ago

Sadly he doesn't want to do it because of the success he's seen in Justified. He's busy and doesn't want to interrupt that.

This is pretty horrible casting. Hit man movie ruined for me.

At least the director isn't Uwe Boll

Lon3wolf3550d ago

Yeah I was one of the seemingly few who thought Tim was good as 47, I enjoyed the movie a lot.

Rock-Lee3550d ago

This is NOT Agent 47. This is just a skinny Jason Statham.

It’s the 25th anniversary this year?

I’d have assumed it would have gotten something like a remastered trilogy of the original games or a remake of the first game. Something for a 25th celebration.

A Deep Dive On all Things Hitman With The Voices Behind Agent 47 And Diana Burnwood

From PSU: "Ten years ago, the Hitman franchise was in a transitory state. Blood Money had become something of a classic and with Hitman Absolution there was a clear decision to push IO Interactive’s assassination sim series to a whole new level. That experimental, often divisive, entry turned out to be pivotal in what would follow.

Elements of Absolution, such as its accessibility and player-created content, would be mixed with the more traditional Hitman games’ sense of murderous creativity to birth the Hitman Trilogy 0f 2016-2021. A series that would take its creators on a turbulent journey of publisher changes, independence, and the eventual triumph of being handed the tantalizing 007 license."
