Hardcore Gamer: Game developer Kilobite made the wrong kind of news this week with its Kickstarter for Knuckle Club. While there's nothing inherently wrong with the game itself, which is a semi-scifi side-scrolling brawler in the Streets of Rage style with light RPG aspects, the crew behind Knuckle Club was already on the hook for Confederate Express.
Crowdfunded all the way back in 2013 amid much controversy, a playable version of Confederate Express by Maksym Pashanin is finally hitting Steam in April.
Kilobite's alleged Kickstarter scam Confederate Express has returned via itch.io.
Josh Griffiths writes: "Today we go on the hunt for the infamous Maksym Pashanin, the man behind Kilobite and the Kickstarter campaigns Confederate Express and Knuckle Club. Chances are you already know of him from outside the crowdfunding world. Mr. Pashanin once got himself tangled up in California squatting laws and Airbnb. But the story goes deeper than that"
