I actually prefer the hand-drawn incarnations of Link in the original Legend of Zelda manual over others – even Twilight Princess/Skyward Sword.
Indeed, good sir.
Wait... this came out already? How did I possibly miss... *digs out credit card*
I'm seriously stoked for Mario and Rayman. As I stated the other day, I have been on the fence about getting a Wii U near launch, and then I saw this:

That pretty much decided it for me. lol
I know it isn't a great consolation, Hells, but have you tried the Demon's Greataxe? I LOVED that weapon. It isn't the best weapon in the game from an objective, meta standpoint, but I had more fun using the Demon's Greataxe than any other weapon in the game. Just a friendly suggestion. :D
Yeah, I don't like some of them. Actually, my biggest issue is the addition of bonfires, and this whole notion of making the game "more accessible" and "easier" because it was apparently too punishing. Dark Souls is a niche game, and I – like many people – savor the difficulty. I want it to be hard as shit. I think Dark Souls was pretty much perfectly balanced as it was, with the exception of the ghosts coming through walls in New Londo.
The best solu...
For those of you wondering, here is a complete list of changes: http://darksoulswiki.wikisp...
I know it says PC, but the changes for consoles remain the same.
I wouldn't say that people can't do without the dual screen, but it is a nice feature. Hell, I could be wrong; maybe the majority of DS owners have become so comfortable with its functionality that they desire it as a standard feature in a handheld device.
That being said, I own a 3DS (after owning a DSi-XL for a long time), and I don't own a Vita. The main reason why, for me at least, was because I felt that Nintendo did offer a more appealing lineup, and games t...
"Not ONLY kids but the games is targeted toward kids, so HIGHEST percent who play them are kids ... yeah obviously fan[boys] that are still trying to rescue the princess ( or playing pokemon since yellow ), some adults ( but most of them are childish ) ..."
Seriously?
First: I am a Mario FAN, not a fanboy; I don't eschew all objectivity, instead judging Mario titles by their merits. I didn't really care for the Galaxy titles, regardless of ...
LOL!
"We don't expect a price cut until summer 2013, at the earliest, but do expect a cut prior to holiday 2013. Any prospective price cut will depend largely on competition, which we expect to materialize in the coming weeks." -Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter
Was the "sping, sping, sping sping sping" part absolutely necessary? heh. Other than that, I suppose it wasn't a terrible advertisement; it demonstrated the new functionality of the Wii U for people who may not be informed. It actually reminds me a bit of video game commercials around the 8/16-Bit era tone-wise.
LX: If there is one game that is pushing me more than others to buy the Wii U, it's definitely Rayman Legends. Origins was such an incredible game. I'm still not entirely convinced to committing to buying a system at or around launch, though – especially considering that the price will most likely drop by the Holiday season of 2013. By then the system will have started to show its stride, and many more titles I am personally interested in will be available.
It will b...
It's true, brish! All you have to do is *gasp* leave the house sometime. ;) hehe
Thanks, Alpha.
Indeed. These people do know that there are real girls out there, right? Actual, tangible girls which one may actually speak to?
The horrible leveling system, scaling enemies, repetitive copy-pasted scenery and levels, shoddy main story, glitches, freezing, framerate issues, floaty combat, archaic menu, and robotic NPC's aren't what "almost spoiled" Oblivion; the ENTIRELY OPTIONAL Adoring Fan was?
Got it.
It's the "Cracked.com syndrome." Have you been to Cracked lately? Everything is "Top 10 Ways to Wipe Your Ass You Never Thought Of," or "5 Crayon Colors That Will Blow Your Mind!"
On a side note: I strongly agree with your assertion above donbear; as far as controls and game mechanics are concerned, GTA doesn't hold a candle to Saints Row. After playing Saints Row: The Third, I got the "sandbox bug," and went back to play GTA IV. There is no comparison on the issue of controls, and I found that the shoddy controls in GTA really hinder the ability to become fully immersed in the experience. Don't get me wrong; I love GTA – but I wish they would take so...
Rayman Legends for the Nintendo Wii U Entertainment System will... *ahem*
Excuse me; I forgot who I was for a moment. ;D
