Well, most of the FPS these days are the same: "you are not so much playing the game as watching the game be played". That's the biggest problem of todays FPSs. It's all about the "film feeling" and that's why I hate scripting so much. In Half-Life it was something new, fresh and not disturbing at all, but today the games as a whole feel much more like interactive movie than a proper game.
Well, Czech review (Doupe.cz, Eurogamer.cz) of the singleplayer was available on 8.10. days ago.
This score (8,5) is not appropriate. If you read the review, it's rather 7/10.

The site gave no scores so why is there a score? And IMHO this score is irrelevant to the review, it's rather 7/10 according to the text.
It's only singleplayer, because during the review there was 0 players online, which is not surprising though ;-)
I don't get it. Valve wants their DLC for free on every platform. Microsoft is againts it with their stupid policy. Valve is offering their product free of charge, they don't get a cent for this. It's really sad that someone wants to give his product for free and Microsoft want gamers to pay for that free stuff because it's distributed via their Xbox Live stream. It's like you're not paying for the product, you're paying for the XBL service which is already included if you own a Gold or Premium Gold account. That's sick.
On PC you get L4D 1+2 bundle with all DLC for $10. On X360 it's $118. I spell it extra for Microsoft - "one fu*king hundred and eighteen american dollars". If I were a X360 gamer, I would be really angry at Microsoft and their crazy XBL politics.
If I were Valve, I would release L4D2 on Blu-Ray and sell it PS3 owners for 20 bucks and this would be a grave for Microsoft.

Forza has damage physics? Are you serious? You mean the small scratches when you hit a wall in 220 km/h.... And no, I'm not a PS3 fan. I don't even own any of the consoles out there, I'm a PC gamer (and will always be). GT5 is trying something completely new and it looks from what I've seen so far very promising. Btw. GRID has very, very poor damage system which is pre-scanned. This looks much better and way more realistic.
