How do you somehow turn this into something negative? Oh wait, for a second I forgot what website I was on.
We have to address it or it will never stop.
He says, "That said, like online, the console will still function if Kinect isn’t plugged in, although you won’t be able to use any feature or experience that explicitly uses the sensor."
The Xbox One WILL function if the Kinect isn't plugged in.
Well said. I couldn't agree more. I would like to see how indie devs and gamers (now that every Xbox One is a dev kit) find new ways to use the Kinect 2.0. Maybe some new game or a cool Windows 8 app (since Xbox One can download Windows 8 apps).
Did you read the article?
This is his entire statement;
Xbox One is designed to work with Kinect plugged in. It makes gaming better in many ways – from the ability to say “Xbox On” and get right to your personalized homescreen, to the ability to control your TV through voice, Smartglass and more. Kinect allows you to search for your content, instantly move between games and your personalized dash and more with just your voice. Kinect helps you pick up and play by aut...
No no, the complaining will now shift to "why include it?!?". These are the same people that would never have bought it though.
It's funny how the article says impressed, but the title changes it to surprised to make it seem as if they weren't making the control for core gamers.
What??? He's not an executive.
"I can see why you're loosing bubbles... "
He has the same amount of bubbles as you.
and yes there fanboys here. If you don't see them, then I think you should go see an optometrist.
Microsoft HAVE given people what they want. They reversed all those so called "bad" policies that people were complaining about, and somehow people still find things to complain about (power brick... really?). What else can they do? Give out free Xbox Ones? He says that Microsoft NEEDS to work to gain like a female playing hard to get. Microsoft have given up some of their original plans (10 friend/family sharing) just to satisfy some people that won&...
"I'm not buying an Xbox One because I want them to work to regain my trust in them"
Who are you, God? Are you someone important or something?
Running from what truth?
The truth is;
They are getting rid of it because when the Xbox One comes out, you only need one Gold account ($60) on the console, and you can make unlimited account.
That website (hardcopy.com) tries to spin it and make it seem like everyone will have to pay now because they are getting rid of the Family pack. If you read the email, they'll be offering those people 3months of Xbox Live (which surprisingly end in...
No. The 3 months end in November. The Xbox One comes out in November, and they'll be able to transfer their account there and they'll be free as long as one person has a Gold Account on the console.
It's like that for the Xbox One as well. THat's why they are getting rid of the family plan and offering those people 3months of Xbox live (up to November). Then when they get their Xbox One consoles, they can transfer those account from the 360 to the X1 and they'll be free.
That was beautiful.
I agree. Even if Microsoft gave away free Xbox Ones, people would still complain.
It isn't an erroneous argument. We haven't seen cloud computing in action, but Microsoft has said that they have the infrastructure set up already yet some gamers (coughcertainfanboyscough) call BS. Now some article comes out, saying that Sony will start doing the same thing, and people get excited, even-though it isn't even set up yet. Isn't that a bit hypocritical? I'm just calling it how I see it.
If Microsoft, a software comp...
Microsoft talks about cloud computing: "It's just PR talk, it won't really work."
Sony talks about cloud computing: "This is a great news. I can't wait to see it in action"
He was talking about the original Kinect. He was under NDA and wasn't able to talk about the next-gen consoles in detail.
Shouldn't that have been your initial question? They have already said that all X1 titles will be available digitally on day one.
