The wii is not just for casuals and kiddies. Actually It's just America (and the Philippines i think) that use mm/dd/yy, Japan uses yyyy/mm/dd, the rest of the world uses dd/mm/yyy.
But yes it was written today. It's probably not a problem that will take too long to fix, but their testers shoudl be shot. It's a pretty major bug to slip into the public unnoticed.

Where's the Parasite Eve love! Did none of you play it?! Awesome game if I ever played on... think Resident Evil, but with tactics. Amazing story too, that game had me hooked.
I got real excited when I heard about the sequal... until it turned out to be a mobile game. I agree Chrono Trigger needs a true sequal, as does Vagrant Story, that was one of the most original games I ever played.

Ironically, a pretty acurate comparison. The PS3 DOES have some great games, but it does have more than it's fair share of awful ports. And the 360 does have an alarmin ghabit of overheating when used for too long (which my PC frequently does after serveral hours of use).
I'm sure fanboys from both sides won't like what you said but I gotta hand it too ya... you'd be hard pressed to find a closer match

Can we close this now? Not really news is it. Interesting bit of info, but not really news for gamers.
The thing about this game, is it's actually making me think about buying a PS3. Seriously, I mean not only does it looks the nuts but the main reason I want this game (and therefore a PS3) is the story. The story sounds really compelling to me, it has been a long, LONG time since I have kept playing a game cause I want to know what happens next.
I am also sick of FPS. Way too many in the market, it's about time we got a triple A game where you have to do some puzzle-solving.
I still crack out the NES for a go on the original Contra (me and my brother spent DAYS playing that game). What happened to the pre-mortal combat days when dying in a game was something you tried to avoid, not so you could see just how gory the graphics can get? I personally blame the wave of totally pointless and totally cr*p films come out in recent years (hills have eyes, hostel 1&2 , pardise lost, vacancy, saw 1-4 to name but a few). Ironic I know, because the most recent game to try...

I think the best one he has done is Tomb Raider, this guy is fantastic. I was really disappointed when he didn't do Halo 3 last week, but then I rembered he's in Australia and they didn't have it yet.

from what I understand, Enigma and Unleash the Beats Within were sub-titles given to the trailers, and that the game is actually just called WarDevil.
