How is this flamebait? I think I offered a pretty decent critique of Sony's handling of the PSP and no one, certainly not you, have worked up the firing synapses to discuss it. You just cry about it.
Because no one on this site wants conversation, they want to argue and thus perceive anything negative as "flamebait." The story with the highest heat right now is a piece that basically says, "Is Battlefield 3 coming on multiple discs on the 360? Who knows! ;)...

You're right, though it's a double edged sword. The only way to make a statement about something you feel is wrong is to draw attention to it. The unfortunate drawback is that you've already undermined your point. It's a tough line to toe.
Well, it doesn't need defending no more than I need to make reviews, or talk about collecting, no. It was simply a fun, topical piece for me to write because this is my hobby. I find the Wii receives an unprecedented amount of heat. More than any current system, or any system before it, and much of it is without merit.

I completely agree with your point. No system exists in a vacuum. They all have something to offer. I just thought the Wii gets ragged on far too much, which is why I wrote this. Honestly, it's not even my favorite console this generation.

If you actually bothered to read the piece, you'll understand why. I'm not criticizing the PSP, or even its library. I actually really like the system. But support doesn't come from just games, man. Sony fraked up pricing, marketing and promotion at nearly every juncture. I mean, who looks at their product and thinks, "Hm, this isn't selling so well, so let's remove some important features in the next model, and sell it for nearly $100 more?" C'mon man. Not a...
