Same. I've played it on PC and it is good but I have fewer friends on PC - or, at least, I find it harder to arrange games with them - so I'm looking forward to joining crews with my PS4 friends.
@Minute Man 721 + mcstorm
Yep! Definitely a matter of luck and this gen I've been really unlucky. It's not like I'm abusive to my PS3! :) Just sits there quietly (mostly) playing my games.
From what I can tell - and I'm no expert - it's the parts that matter. The PS3 has have high-power parts, but the PS4 has low-power, which take up less space and produce less heat.
Something to do with an APU or something. But the PC-like parts basically means it doesn't have to use so much power.
It's anecdotal I guess. I've personally had 5 different PS3's thanks to YLOD.
Let me explain:
First PS3 (original 60GB) broke because the bluray laser dropped and wouldn't read game discs.
After that I had MULTIPLE referb PS3s, all of which died because of YLOD.
I'm now on my 6th PS3 and I demanded a brand new PS3 from Sony instead of the crappy refurbs it was sending me and it's lasted longer than any of the previous P...
I get that it's not a series that's for everyone, but gosh darn it I love playing Dynasty Warriors - just button-bashy fun.
YOU'VE USED IT?! :O
Me neither! I haven't touched it but I've tried to find out as many opinions on it as possible and from all those who did they've been really - like REALLY - positive.
I actually didn't have a problem with the PS3 controller either (though I understand people's complaints) so this thing is going to be impossibly good for me! :)
To be fair, if I'm paying for Xbox Live I should not have advertising. I pay the BBC TV license for the same reason.
He must've known that the video was never going to be pro-gaming. It's Conan O'Brien and a lot of jokes at gamers stereotypes. I thought it was funny and took it for what it was, but Mr MS needs to learn to relax.
Though I guess he's had a hard time recently and probably a little defensive.
E3 2010 maybe?
Honestly though, of course Microsoft would say that. Most other people - regardless of console preference - would have to admit that Sony was the winner this year, if only by the number of cheers in the audience.
Victory to us! The gamers!
It seems frustrating that Microsoft just buys for its exclusives rather than source teams to work with the controller.
It might sound like a bit of a Sony fanboy thing to say, but it makes me want to buy an Xbox One less when Microsoft just buys an exclusive. It just shows how far behind MS is in creating content for its own console.
It does seem like Sony is getting a lot of favour from developers. I hope it works out in the long run.
I've seen so many developers come out and say how Sony has approached THEM to get their games on the PS4. That's so exciting to me!
Sigh. Microsoft, you're on a losing streak don't go around saying things like that - you'll just get the trolling fanboys out.
Games wise I wasn't impressed by everything (was mostly excited for indie stuff, FF15 and The Order) but the fact that Sony properly trolled Microsoft with the used games/DRM announcement - or lack of - is what made Sony win this year's E3 (and perhaps next-gen) for me.
Waiting to see the prices before I pre-order, but I probably will go PS4. Everyone is saying how great the PS4 is to develop for...
I'm not a fanboy or anything, but everyone was pleased with the way Sony handled the PS4 reveal - it was games, games, games and a bit of tech to talk about how powerful it was. As far as consoles reveal go, I think that was one of the better ones.
But Microsoft didn't do enough to counter that. It should've seen what people reported on the PS4 - and how people responded - and done the same but better.
Instead it was TV, TV, TV, TV, TV, TV, COD do...
I agree. They always said that E3 was going to be about the games, and the reveal was about the hardware and what it will do.
They did that.
But the problem is, the majority of the world's people watching the conference was gamers, and gamers want games. That's what Microsoft didn't understand. This was their chance to really sell the Xbox One and they didn't. They only disappointed people and confused the rest.
I have it on PC, but I just didn't finish it. For some reason I am excited for this though... I think it's a much better console game than a PC game, if that makes sense.
Also like the new roll ability. Sounds cool.
