Fair call. From my perspective. The network on even games a simple as sing star kept dropping, whereas, I regulary played Halo, gears, halo wars, etc without any lag or drop out.
I live close to an exchange so have a good Internet service. My other half is a complete Sony zealot, but had to admit that xbox offered an on- line experience that completely outclassed it.
I see no reason why this next gen won't carry on that pattern.

Something is better than nothing!! I have a feeling the ps4 owners will now be able to witness the joy of cross game chat at it's worst. If MS can do something positive about it, then more power to them.
I am buying both consoles, but fully expect Sony to be a gen behind in this area. Lets not forget that MS have been practising since the original xbox.
You can say what you like about xbox and MS, but their on-line offering has been leagues ahead this gen...
