Two questions: Are you seriously comparing the Beatles to GTAV and would you seriously let your 8 year old play GTAV? I've been a gamer for 25 years and I can't see my 8 year old fondling a bare titted stripper's ass and water boarding a person until he flatlines. Harmful or not, kids have all the time in the world to experience mature entertainment after their balls have dropped and know what to do with that stripper's ass:)
While David Hayter deserves all due recognition, his voice work with Snake is a bit over the top. It's honestly quite hard to take Snake too seriously with Hayter's voice, so I'm all for Kojima's choice to freshen things up. According to the GDC-demo, they are using Kiefer Sutherland in the game which really lifts the bar for the voice work. Hayter is no K. Sutherland.

Best to forget about 1080p this generation. Neither console has enough power. And yes, if you have a big screen there's a massive difference between 720p and 1080p.
Of course there's a difference, 1080p has more than double the pixels.
