Very expensive (£47.99 for 90 days) considering you get pretty much the same thing on PC for Free

I always find matches with setting I want :/

I can believe the CPU part but the GPU nah

HD 7770 is 80Watt if two chips 160Watt TDP
AMD Bulldozer 6 Core is 95Watt TDP
You telling me that the Next Xbox will be using over 250Watt

BTW HD 7870/ GTX 570 is quicker than HD 7770 in CFX never mind 7950 or 7970 GTX 580 or GTX 680

HD 7850 is 130Watt if two chips 260Watt TDP
AMD Bulldozer 6 Core is 95Watt TDP
Its just crazy to think its a high end HD 700...

Well sources was originally naming the now GTX 680 a GTX 660Ti

All you have to do is look at history

GF100 = GTX 480 - GF110 = GTX 580
GF104 = GTX 460 - GF114 = GTX 560 Ti

You get the idea, so you would expect

GK100 = GTX 680
GK104 = GTX 660 Ti

Around February it was rumoured that GK104 will be branded GTX 670 Ti with leaked shots

I believe Nvidia was surprised with the initia...

Yeah Kakkoii is right

Nvidia wining the majority of Benchmarks
Nvidia has infant drivers

Only reason why GTX 680 costs this much is because its better than HD 7970

Also it uses less power, its runs cooler (references versions) and its quieter.

Best part it overclocks to hit target FPS which is godly

My old 50Mbps would convert to $80 a month unlimited download

My current is about 7-11Mbps would convert to $26 a month unlimited download

When I was with Virgin Media I was getting:

50Mbps or 6.25MB/s

Usually was round 47Mbps though :) really good service, just expensive :(

Does look awesome, I'm sure someone has done something like this 'DIY' on PC already.

Yep Nvidia defiantly changed the architecture

It needed to happen Fermi was 529mm2, Largest chip I known of.
If they went with 1024 Cuda cores on Fermi even at 28nm we'd be looking at around 700mm2, which is just idiotic it needed to change.

Now they have a smaller die than Tahiti, it requires less power than Tahiti and probably run cooler than Tahiti.
Best part is could be between 10-20% faster than HD 7970

Its no wonder...

Oh my goodness are you kidding me this is just hilarious, that video of Killzone 2 has predictable physics and if you shot the wall a million times it will break the same way.
The piece have been drawn by modellers plus did you notice how chunks disappeared into fin air.

This Nvidia demo is real-time physics where the object break due to forces. These object break completely differently every time because there is no model that has been define by the modeller. All the...

Not quite 10 years away more like 3 at best

If the
Samsumg Galaxy Tab 11.6 has a res of 2560 by 1600 260ppi (11.6" screen) (rumoured)
Apple iPad (3rd Gen) has a res of 2048 by 1536 264ppi (9.7" screen)

Expect 4096 by 2160 in 2013-2014 because at this rate the 5/6th gen iPad will have that Resolution
The Samsung Galaxy SIII is expected to have a res of 1920 by 1080 on a 4.8" screen with in the next few months.

These numbers in this article are way off

Console manufactures need to focus more on the GPU not the CPU.

Anything more than 10 cores is just stupid and excessive.
CPUs scale poorly and adding more cores will make them more power hungry and less efficient.

Hi density discs are good but the read/transfer speeds are just damn right awful, they need to come up with a memory option.
Just to compare, my brothers Skyrim can take ove...

Never mind HD 7000 and Kepler

Loved this game and this series
The 3rd game was the best, it also featured the 2nd as a bonus

I'd wait till the benchmark comparisons before jumping in.

Hell could even get 7950 for cheaper when Kepler comes out.

Got a disagree for sound advice?

Waiting for the competition best idea. AMD can charge more now because the 7950 and 7970 is better than anything Nvidia got. However, once Kepler is out and the performance is better/similar or worse price will defiantly change.
That's just fact

If GTA V does not look this good on PC then you know Rockstar are taking the pi$$

Modders these days are just making developers look silly
They release:

* Community patches
* Better graphics
* Performance optimisers
* Community content
* All for FREE!!!

4 Maps
10 Guns
4 Vehicles

I personally found the weapons best part of this pack but overall its great.
Luckily I got this with my pre-order off Origin

Looking forward to the new DLC coming soon, I think DICE is going to support this like BF2, probably going to get Packs and Standalones for years to come.

Not like Activision, re-release pretty much the same game every year with a different SP and then charge $15/£1...

Just to clear it up for people that don't understand this
HD xxxx malarkey works

Here is a couple of examples

HD 4870
The '4' signifies the series in with the card belongs
The '8' signifies weather its low end, midrange or high end, (in this case high end)
The '70' signifies where it sits in its range (this case third behind 90 and 70 x2)

HD 6670
The '6' signifies th...
