The Playstation requires you to have at least double the size of the download to install it on your PS3. The download doesn't become 40GBs, you just have to have 40GBs free to install it. #1.2.1

40gigs out of a 160GB hard drive would kill my PSN game library. I'd certainly like to know before I put money into my PSN wallet. Plus the whole downloading 19 gigs is going to take some people days. #1.3
