Quite frankly nobody beats malcolm mcdowell who has more acting credits than probably any other brit ever.

Whoever wrote this article doesn't seem to realise that the new voiceovers are 100% better.
The reason they sound "off" is because they are the unvarnished perfmances. The mastered performances will sound better and will have had tens on thousands of pounds of post production spent on them.

Every single modern film, song or even video game goes through this process.

Any actor or singer would sound totally wrong with unmastered audio.

Shatter was given away for free on the EU store with Playstation Plus, Warhawk has had numerous discounts, GOW collection, Flower, Fat Princess and Joe Danger have all been discounted previously.

Trine is properly third party so giving that away (if a third of the total PSN accounts had claimed it) would have cost Sony $50,000,000 or more.

Had Sony given away games which were discounted previously people would be making the same criticsms saying that they we...

I greatly doubt they'd attack M$.

OMG desktop dungeons is my favourite indie game. I had no idea they were making a proper version of it. Can't wait.

If anything Remedy should forget Alan wake because then they can make a profitable game on multiple formats.

They're better than Alan Wake in my opinion.

@starchild

No it wasn't.

If I were a troll I'd say it was sh*t no matter what.

I wanted to like it but it's just not a very good game.

In fact if I were a troll I wouldn't have even bought a 360 and Alan Wake.

Please no! I wanted to like the first one but quite frankly I found nothing in that game to enjoy.

Hilarious when I think of all the comparisons that were made to AAA PS3 games before it's release.

The calling card left by whoever was messing with PSN points to anonymous.
The investigation will take the police wherever the hackers are not where anonymous are, (if they aren't one and the same) so as a distraction it wouldn't make any sense.

Sony's involvement in this scandal could end at dishing out compensation and getting the service back up and running, the FBI can take it from here on seeing as how it's cyber-terrorism.
Once you go ...

Yes it was. Even if they didn't steal info I think this points to them being there.

In the UK, if a gang attack and kill someone, all members of the gang present are guilty even if they don't take part.
This is because they would have had foreknowledge that those they mix with are likely to commit violent acts.

Anonymous are in the same position in that they admit one of their members could have done the attack, yet as a group they don't accept responsibility.
Once they threatened Sony's business and services they fired the star...

Anonymous probably know who carried out the attack, let them name the criminals and clear their own "reputation".

In my opinion somebody within or affiliated with anonymous was responsible.

2. mass effect/uncharted

I would say that UC2 is a better game than either mass effect but as an ip they are both equally great in my opinion.
It's only the genius of Naughty Dog that elevates UC above being a decent action game.

Gears was an inventive new ip that shook things up a bit, but outside of North America trust me, it's no big deal.

Honourable mentions should go to Viva Pinata, Dem...

Europe is nearly 500 million people.

USA is 300+ million.

I wouldn't call Europe a bunch of sattelite countries. Not to mention the fact also that the economy of the EU is greater than the USA's.

Ubisoft, Lionhead, Rare, Free Radical/Crytech, Eidos, Atari, Avalanche studios, Guerilla games, Vivendi and Infogrammes are all major developers based in Europe.

The USA is the biggest slice ...

1. Better exclusives on PS3 competing with third party games.

2. Different demographics for each console.
Main audience for a game like CoD? Teenagers.
Main audience for a game like Heavy Rain? Adults.

The graphics have been sharpened up as well as more effects being added. All my LBP1 levels now look twice as good so I don't know how you can say downgraded.

Please someone provide a link to a screenshot comparison.

They would have to go online but the scan of your system wouldn't necessarily detect the hack. The way they will be banned is by simple logic. Demons souls played for less than 200 hours yet it's platinumed? Yeh that's a hacker.

They could even link trophies to in game stats, an example is getting level hearts in LBP. If you don't have any levels or the Sony servers show you not having the required level hearts then of course it's a sure sign you never ear...
