If your source of news is too dependent on click bait headlines, go find a new source. This is why I stop reading almost any heavily politically leaning news outlet. The same goes for gaming news, if they're giving low scores for cheap clicks then go find a new source of news.
As a game critic myself, I'm not surprised by this. The reason for the big difference is critics who specialize in horror games have played too many zombie games and have become bored with the genre. One of the reasons I have not reviewed it or given my opinion about the game is because I come from a position of being over exposed and felt that I could not give a honest review.
