Hi there, I wrote this piece.
A couple of points:
I included The Last of Us over The Last Guardian because, in the end, we have an idea of how you will play Naughty Dog's title after one trailer and yet, despite several trailers over the course of three years, we know next to nothing about what kind of a game The Last Guardian is. I want to play TLG as much as anyone else but there hasn't been a shred of concrete information as to what kind of a game...
I know what you mean and I'm dreadfully sorry. Unfortunately I didn't know about the issue until I got back home from E3 and I was thoroughly pissed about it. I just hope I don't have to get a new camera because of this. It has served me well but after this...
I understand what you mean but it simply isn't for me. I just like to race and crash and games like Need for Speed Hot Pursuit and Burnout are exactly what I want in a racing game. Now if Forza 4 had a crash mode I'd be all over it but, even after trying 3, I just couldn't get into it.
Wish I could though: the constant battle for the crown between Gran Turismo and Forza always benefits the audience.
It doesn't really show it in the footage above but in another demo I saw the Kinect's head-tracking actually worked pretty well. If it weren't a sim I'd honestly consider picking it up.
Thank goodness. My run didn't suck nearly as much but I unfortunately couldn't play and do the camera at the same time.
Lol, thanks. I'll keep updating throughout the weekend. My next video: Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. Stay tuned!
I completely agree. Luckily I wasn't the one who was playing lol
I wasn't able to capture a lot of combat footage but the demo did put quite a bit of emphasis on exploration and platforming, hence the little combat shown in the demo.
Thanks man, much obliged. Keep a look out for some more videos over the next few days. I just started submitting some gameplay of Enslaved: Odyssey to the West so if you enjoyed Heavenly Sword I think you'll like this.
Here's my recent video I captured in the THQ booth of Red Faction Armageddon:
The URL had a misspell; fixing right now...
EDIT: Fixed now, sorry for the inconvenience. Still learning how to do N4G properly...
Thanks man. Shot with a Canon HF10 camcorder using a Rode VideoMic. Bought these specifically for E3 and this was shot with the highest quality video mode. Naturally the file was close to 1.5gb by the end of it.
