the good: the developer makes some very interesting points about the state of the industry today
the bad: this guy sounds more like a game tester then a developer, probably programs the opening credits for a fifa game
so the Tegra K1 is going to wipe out gaming as we know it and everyone will be playing on there tablet and because ms already have a os for tablets they will be the big winners

ms had half a million 360 consoles ready for the launch in japan, it took them 3 years to sell them
you need thermal paste but a lot of cpu coolers come with pre applied thermal paste, all programs and os go on the ssd, pictures/video/games go on the hard drive
99% of programs are under 100mb, that's 10 per gig, on a 100 gig ssd that's a lot of programs. I only have about 20 programs that I use
standard hard drives are plenty fast for the average user but I do like the silence of my ssd {zero noise}
I have win 8.1 and 7, windows 8 feels like you have 2 desktops, with the click of a button it changes to the metro style apps, ill be sticking to win 7 on my main pc but win 8 is very similar to 7. the perfect solution would have kept win 8 desktop the same as win 7 and just add the metro style, my win 7 with a ssd boots in 16 seconds, I decided to go with a 2tb sshd for win 8 and it also boots in 16 seconds, very impressed with that sshd
why would they do that when its clearly the next big thing to hit gaming, Kinect can recognize up to 50 different types of gaming plants

I don't recommend overclocking but you would need a after market cpu cooler and you need to manually set the cpu voltage, on auto it always over volts and a sure way to reduce the life of your cpu
for intel I think its 1.3 volts max maybe its 1.4, set it manually to 1.275 volts put up your cpu to 3.6/3.8/40 ghz test for stability, if its stable start lowering your cpu voltage 1,25 test for stability 1.2 test for stability 1.175 test for stability 1.15 test for stability ...
the next forza wont be out for another 2 years, plenty of time to get that car for free, but still its ridiculous and im sure they will add more and more dlc to screw its fans over. the way the ms fanboys defended xbox over the last couple of months and this is how ms repays them, all dlc for killzone is free
im glad those days are over, playing tekken on a 50hz tv it was 17% slower then a 60hz tv, it was like a new game when I finally got to play it at 60hz, the quicker 50hz dies the better, can you even buy a 50hz tv anymore don't know a single person how dosent have a 60hz tv

my guess they will design the game to run at 2ghz across the board and when things get hectic on screen, like a few explosions then it will turbo up to max for the few seconds that it needs too, so the frame rate stays consistent
with the xbox one they will design the game to run at 1.5ghz and when the screen gets hectic it will raise up to 1.75ghz for a short time to keep the frame rate consistent

my amp cost me 1200 and i bought 9 speakers for it, the sound is amazing its like having a live orchestra, i thought it couldn't be beat for sound quality that's until i bought a 300$ set of headphones and it puts my system to shame, my advice if you really want the best of the best in sound quality go check out a good set of head phones
