FFX = YAY!!!! FFX-2 = BOO!!!!
Because God of War games are some of the most epic, well controlled, paced and gorgeous games I have ever played and they make me smile oh so much.
It can be completed in 8 hours. And I'm probably going to play through it at least 5 times. So that's 40 hours worth on gaming. I'm in!
Only one week to go and I'm wetting myself more than a footless Hermes!
Got my bottle of drain-o ready just in case.
Is it just me or does the 20th February have the potential to be better than E3 this year?
I was close to saying that myself but thank Kratos there is still gamers with half a brain cell.
Question is.... what console will it be on???
I'm probably going to get sleighted for this but what the hell. I'm really not excited about this game because I am a PS3 gamer and a big fan of Uncharted and Naughty Dog. Now, I know this game is very different to Uncharted, but visually it just looks to much like it. The multiplayer even looks the same as Uncharted's. If I just owned an 360, I'd be losing sleep over excitement. But sadly I don't, I just own a PS3.
Bayonetta 2 did hurt, but I don't blame Platinum for that one. I blame every publisher that turned the game down. Plus, having the game in the world is a lot better than not having it.
OMG Platinum Games are one of the best developers in the world at the moment. MGR looks amazing, and judging from their previous work on Bayonetta and how amazing Vanquish was, it's going to be to the same quality. With them doing Darksiders, it could become an amazing franchise. Fingers well and truly crossed on this one.
While Cronos is the largest in god of war my favorite boss in that series has to be Poseidon and everything in the intro of God of War 3. When you leap out of Guia and then straight into fighting Poseidon it's just amazing. I'm surprised there's no mention of Azura's Wrath here. There's a boss in that game that grows, to what only can be described as, the size of the universe. Plus, the lack of Shadows of the Colossus is pretty much a sl...
Yep that about sums it up for me as well. Well done ThatGameCompany!, think I woke my flatmates up cause I actually yelped when I saw it had won.
Well our thoughts are with you Mr Mogren... if that is your real name.
Okay... I know this guy says at the start of the article that he is mostly a Nintendo gamer, and that he is entitled to his opinion. BUT COME ON! Not one mention of any of the big 3, Last of Us, GTA5 or Bioshock Infinite... and Luigi's Mansion... I have no doubt it's going to be an amazing game but saying that your looking more forward to it than any of the big 3 is nuts.
From a business point of view, yes they should release less exclusives and focus on a few games a year to give them a better marketing budget and increase sales. BUT, and as you can see this is a very big but (it's so big I'm going to say it again in case you missed it), BUT from a gaming point of view... hell no. Some of the best games of this generation have been because Sony are fearless in their exclusives. I'm still amazed, and very gratef...
I've decided that even if this game is shite, it's more than worth it for the promotional stuff. Say it with me people... CHIMICHANGA!!!!
It took me a while to see how I felt about Skyrim, around about 300 hours over 3 playthroughs actually. What I finally decided was that Skyrim was one of the most absorbing experiences I've had with a game. Literally almost failed uni because of it. And yes it does addict you to it, but it can only do that because of the amount of effort Bethesda put into crafting one of the most dense open worlds ever seen in a game. Skyrim to me is one my favourite RPGs and is in no way a lazy game....
Was thinking about this earlier how Journey is still my game of the year so far as well. Mass Effect 3 is a very close second but Journey gets the nod, mainly just for the bit where the camera turns sideways when you're sliding down the ocean of gold. If you've played it you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.
Just to make myself clear, Uncharted 3 is one of the best games available right now with Naughty Dog being the best developers working in the industry so not trolling... guess that must make me stupid then lol.
