since the end of 2006 and all of 2007...Nintendomination has occured. Halo hasn't done anything to stop it, if anything Activision took them on, lets see if the Ps3 titles do something about it.
End of last year: DS>Wii>PSP>360>PS2 >PS3.

Europe seems to be going Ps3 way...from neutral standpoint I reckon x360 needs to get advertisers on their side..USA may be the biggest market but it can't be bigger then JAPAN, EUROPE, Others etc put together.

I'm with you on that one..its getting a bit tried and tested. Making software and making hardware are two different things. Software shortages last days...and it's not like Nintendo can be surprised anymore with 'how overwhelming the demand has been'.
But I think they had too. Microsoft stopped Xbox right in its tracks. It was never naturally wound down. It was totally stopped. I reckon Sony is gonna do it the playstation way (with the exceptance of BC). Ps1 to Ps2=ps2 to ps3.
Last time it was Sega Dreamcast, SOny PS one, PS2 and N64...and then Xbox. Now its X360, Wii, Ps2 and Ps3.
In my opinion though it may be controversial, Nintendo didn't have enough capital to keep up with the PS3 and 360. (They work in the sam...

Although I agree with you I kind of reckon there won't be an official statement. Toshiba and Sony have a business relationship of sorts and they have worked on other stuff together. The forum behind HD-DVd won't disband either. Things will just go away into the sunset...

I see the nintendo titles...software and hardware perched at the top. In every region around the world. Industry leading means leading the industry, Ps3 might be doing something now in europe but the DS and Wii are still top dog.
In this generation, Halo wasn't the biggest seller, either guitar hero or COD4 was. Thats of course if you don't count the Wii or DS titles...
And also, last I heard the 7/8 old ps2 was still selling like hot cakes. That's the industry leader.

It looks like this is all planned out by the pr department. Ces: story first broke. one week later, we have a video interview. They are slowly going to build momentum. I reckon footage should time well within GDC or something. With playable demo. I remember somebody on some podcast saying that RFOM 2 already had a playble level back in december. And I was like, whatever...Guess I'm eating my words now...
