My reason to love modern gaming? I can play at my own pace thanks to most games having different difficulty modes.
A good start for RE6.
It just goes to show once again that hardware specs ain't everything.
The turning point was when Capcom decided to make MH3 for the Wii instead of the PS3.
<Sony got it right, with no region locking on PS3 games.>
Not exactly. The game itself might be region-free but the DLC, additional content access to out-of-region online stores and your PSN account are region-locked.
And the saddest thing of it all is for all the hate it got, it just might end up turning out better than RE6.
It's amazing how all those IP's came a long way from 8 to 32-bit to HD.And for the most part they're still going strong.
Same here. I pay attention more to the dialogue than the story. I'm trying to anticipate what I have to do next.
Oh? That same Crysis that most PC's couldn't run? LOL
Eventually there will be nowhere to go with the graphics once this photo-realism is achieved.

Huh? I don't recall SMG being easy to beat. And I actually played the game.
<Nintendo has been making their games more casual and alot less core. You can't deny this.>
Yes I can because most Nintendo games don't even have a difficulty mode, unlike most Microsoft and Sony games. DKCR is casual now?
More of what we gotten this generation just with an even fresher coat of paint.
Agreed on all four. Especially #1. In 10 years, watch these same gamers whining about this generation remember it fondly bragging about how great COD was. Or AC. Or even dare I say RE6?
Real gamers don't need mods.

Co-sign. People with no video game experience besides playing it thinking they know more about game development than the people who actually develop games. Why don't they make their own games since they think they know how games a...
Umm. No. It's just same ****, different generation. Some new IP's succeed while the rest fail. The difference is that right now and most like next generation, the industry has a much bigger audience to cater to.
Well, the console-manufacturers have to recoup the costs of R&D and manufacturing the console. And there are not nearly enough "core" gamers around to help pay the billions of dollars invested in it. There never really has been. Considering that consoles are "casual" by nature, it's only natural and logical for them to try and win that crowd. Not just to expand the existing client-base, but also to replenish it because eventually the core crowd won't be playing...
In all fairness the industry does need new blood to keep it going. Just ask the comic book industry.
<The enraged fans have not dwindled but the new kids are taking interest because now the new Dante looks and behaves like them.>
Wrong. Most of the people who bought COD are ADULTS. The brats on XBox Live doesn't speak for every proud COD player.
As far as kids being used to playing crappy games goes, it figures when the first consol...
I'm impressed with the level-designing. And the camera angles seems stable. I might give this a chance.
