Talk for yourself i own many of them, granted not enough to be on the board of any of those company, i am not a millionaire, but these kind of purchases should be rejected no matter the side; because it has become a stupid trend, if it goes through i am sure sony will try to acquire Square’s Enix and or Capcom (and its easier for them than MS or Tencent thanks to Japans law), Tencent, MS and Sony are on a buying spree and this is not good for consumers.

And most of them failed miserably, Insomniac went to xbox after working kinda as a second party for many years and Sunset Overdrive failed; but yea all of those were mostly a second party studios, bluepoint all they do are remasters and remake, some of those developers where even waiting to be bought (Housemarque)

Not at all they will keep blocking games from xbox console Gamepass when they has a chance, sony doesnt see xbox on pc as a competitor, while they actually see the xbox console as a direct competitor; so they would not care to put Spiderman on gamepass PC after the sales decrease.

Even if it is a storewide sale MS has a saying in this, a store wont discount 25% of a product that they know they will sell; its not how business works, a store wont give their cut just for fun, if a store discount a product is either because its not selling and they need it out of shelves or because the manufacturer / supplier (MS) gave them green light to make the deal with certain restrictions (which is probably the case here). For example Apple do this all the time.

Deadline huh, well MS likes deadline you know, they hate when dev has to delay games and they would just cancel them if a game is on development hell, even if it would be for couple of months, reason why some dev dont deal with them, specially japanese ones like Level 5
RE was never an horror game at all like some claim to be anyways, silent hill and fatal frame did a good work at that, RE had many limitations on older systems (like many games) thats way it changed a lot when RE4 released, I consider 5 to be the start of the end of re, when they completely removed the suspense and went 100% action then started adding multiplayer etc, re6 was crap, re7 was okay (i dont like that it was 1st person), and re8 was better, still okay for me since 1st person) proba...

4 is basically called the best by most people and i am pretty sure its the most sold as well, it really started with 5, though not for me since 5, RE 7 and RE 8 well, even RE6 which has the worst reception sold a lot, it did cost a lot to make though
Btw saving the franchise is not a matter of opinion alone, it has to do moatly with sales and public reception (opinions)

The thing is that the world is massive and they realized it too late. Bloodborne, sekiro and elden, i agree with dark souls 2 being the worst as well..
He probably grinded out using exploit, i love the game and i am 150 can imagine how hard would it be to just grind for 1 lv at 200, especially with a game you hate...
@surgical Also i probably have more games, than you, library has nothing to do with this and btw sekiro is more simple than dark souls game, just a hand with few tools and and a katana deflecting enemies attacks, this is coming from someone which sekiro is fav of all the souls
