Woah, hold on a minute
Our entire physics class has been playing this the whole year, and I'll have you know our official name for it was wiki-races! #3
Though there will obviously be improvements, the jump from DX10 to DX11 isn't anywhere near the scale of the DX9 - 10 jump. It's very similar to DX10.1, which is a a derivative of DX10 anyway. #2.2
I'm with Agent VX on this one...
You don't need to spend 2 grand on a PC to play those games. The difference between the i7 920 and 965 is negligible when playing games, though there's a huge difference in price. You can get 6GB of DDR3 RAM for around 80 quid now, and a single Geforce GTX275 is more than enough to play any of the games at any resolution, bar perhaps 2560 - But then who really plays at that res anyway. #1.3
shopto.net is certainly NOT reliable. The owner is on the government list of known fraudsters - his last scam was collecting all money before christmas a few years ago (on a different website), then shutting down suddenly with no contact details. He has been banned from trading for a number of years and this has not yet passed - go ahead if you want, but I'm certainly not risking it. #3.6
So
Just how many new registered accounts has eurogamer gained from this? In the thousands already, and with the last stragglers later today hoping on the off chance there might be one left, I'd say they haven't done too badly out of it all. #259
