I think an HD collection is unlikely.. though not impossible for the 2 Soul Reaver games and Defience.. even Blood Omen 2 could be easily HD updated but the blood omen would probably be the hard one to update.. I think it was all pre rendered sprites, not 3d.
I'm glad everyone liked the video, The series also looks at films so subscribe if you wan't to know about those as they obviously end up here :)
also @Picnic's comment: I'm now never going to take that part of the game seriously again as i'll just be thinking of Holly saying "There all dead Dave over and over again"!! (don't know why i can't reply directly to that comment) #6
it's 4... However I'm not counting Doom and Duke Nuken as there not secrets in the games but promotion art work... Though I still didn't know about any of them other then MGS. #13.2
It's very hard to come up with original ideas now adays, what's important isn't that it's a rip off but that its not a shameless cash in. Sony have gone to great lenghts to make a game that will be equal in fun to Smash Brothers and maybe improve upon, especially in the fighting mechanics, something Smash Brothers does not try do being for everyone to play. Sony want's the hardcore audience and is making a game taylored to that. #82
I love the atmosphere of the game from the images, hopefully they're playing around with more then just the visuals of this MMO though, lets hope for some unique features #113
I liked Mirror's Edge at the time of release and while it doesn't seem like a sequel will be happening anytime soon the game was the first to really try precision first person platforming so I believe that a sequel would be a massive improvement if only for taking into account feebback from the first. #1
Trophies can be great gametime extending devices when used properly. In trying to get them you can end up seeing everything a game has to offer, sub plots/areas etc. While some games just had stupid trophies just as much as intellegent or challengeing ones.
While your right theres not much money in it, hense the series moving to the PSP, releasing an upscaled set of the 3 could be a good way to go and a patch for people who already have it. #7.1.2
All I'm thinking is that if MGS4 can get a trophy patch after all this time maybe Sega will follow suit and do the same for Valkyria Chronicles.
I'm happy they did something about the loading times as well, shows how the code has improved for their PS3 games since the original launch of the game #7
Its more a case of everything that Rare made, Microsoft bourght the company then over the next few years all the major players there left so now the company is made of people with very little game experience.
Its a smart more for Nintendo to re aquire the rights to the franchises but leave the studio when they originally sold Rare with the Banjo franchise rights
They should give the job of a new Banjo game to Retro Studios! #6.1
I loved this game, t was a true reminder of the JRPGs of old especially in turms of the battle system. Seemed like heaven to have a world map again since Final Fantasy had all but abandoned teh concept.. I always thought world maps gave the game a sense of scale.
Oh and Gongora... if i had a list for characters with faces deserving of a good punch he'd be at the top! #4
Actually I was 11 but the first RE game(and my favourite of the older gamess) I played was RE2 which RE6 seems very remaniscent of gven the multiple campaings and Sherry, Leon and Ada returning.
Though my point would be RE4 is still my favourite RE game because the fear in the original games was created by the controls and camera more then gameplay. RE4 was tense and a more reaction based horror where if you died you couldn't blame the camera or tank controls... ... #3.1.1
I'm not very find of the Chris postion of the demo, I've always loved Resident Evil and don't like the actio heavy direction RE5 took... however RE5 sold like crazy and if theres a big market for it then Capcom will provide it.. I'm thankful that Leon's capmaign is more akin to RE4 which is my favourite of the series. #3
I agree with your point on the ME2 Omega Relay scene however I think that its effect on th aplayer depends on what they've done in teh game up to that point. You could potentially loose a bunch of crew members whcih does make it very tense in yoru first play through if your unsure of what you needed to do to survive.
For me thats an epic scene (the music score for it is amazing!) but Its not something I constantly think I'd like to rewatch it. (again just me but i und... #5.1
But I'd definatly buy that collection! #2.1
Plus were likely to see new IPs with the new generation of consoles as opposed to the tail end of this gen #1.1

A reboot of sonic won't change much.. what's really there to reboot?, the one plus of it would be removing all the extended series characters #2
New characters come with new IPs which rarely happen towards the end of a console generations...
It's gnerally simple, if you don't want to see a character anymore don't buy teir games. The publichsers will get the message... #6

and in my opinion the most powerful moments of FF8 and FF9 were technically gameplay as you pressed X to continue the conversation.
Your comment might have been more understandable had Aeris's death been picked #3.1
