Yes, but rendered in real time means rendered in real time. Like it says if you were to read it. Not to be a dick or anything.

an organization called ICANN and a few other organizations control the internet protocols and a couple are still under the control of the US government, but as of sept 30 2009 ICANN ended the agreement they had between them and the US government.

The reason Crysis's models look so smooth is because they use very high resolution normal maps on the models, pretty much, they render a very high resolution model and render out the normals, which is basically how the light hits the model stuff like that, similar to a bump map. and then using the normal map which is essentially a texture they apply it to a lower resolution model of the same character, and then the light reflects off it just as it would on the higher res model. if you put the...

if I'm not mistaken, the "nazi" depicted in this here picture is Rommel, and I believe he saved countless Jews from under Hitlers nose. and in the other picture it's joan of ark, and I believe the message is the "live in your world play in ours" which has been the motto of the playstation 3 for a long time.

However, for people who don't know their history, these ads would come off making sony look "dumb" when in fact it is a brilliant add. I for one,...

I hope futureshop does the same thing with this game as they did with Batman AA and offer it at $38.99 for release day. Uncharted for that price equals awesome and doubles the release day sales, at least in Canada.

"if dvd's is such a problem. just put it on 2 disk."

this isn't always an option, for there are royalty fees the devs need to pay to use multiple disks, so unless you like or prefer to pay $89.99 for a 360 game, in which at one or more places in the game you have to stop your game switch disks and start up again.

This argument came up about the game Rage, and how they don't want to put it on more than 2 disks.

edit: on the side regarding this sto...

I think Nintendo is going to be first to release a console next gen, but thats just my gut feeling. I'm guessing 2012 at the earliest.

I'm doubting this is true. and if it is, it's beyond a 2012 release date, for this would have mad post preduction. Unless its a cartoon, which would then make it most likely retarded . . . unless the Animaniacs were in it. then I'm down.

it needs to make up for the time it wastes on switching disks :P

but this is looking really lame, not going to lie about it. I like Halo and everything but this is just retarded looking. However it does kinda remind me of Titan AE wich was really good, but it wasn't all japanese anime like.

we will be getting into the new higher definition, and that means larger movies, and then we will be arguing that our 100mb/s internet connection isn't fast enough. I don't discs going anywhere fast, because reading data from a media disc will always be faster than downloading it. and hard drives fails a lot more than disc media does. hard draves conk out on people all the time and then there goes that hard drive that held $200 worth of download content. physical media is where it's at.

I still need to beat it, I think i'm just a little over half done, but I stopped playing because I picked up ratchet and clank future: tools of destruction, as it had a price drop because it went greatest hits.

well since I don't play games for the trophies, this argument doesn't really concern me, but I know trophy whores like them, and they do give a game more life by giving gamers more to accomplish. So I can't see this as hindering a game. You play a game how you want to, it's always been like that.

I don't think you understand what Guerrilla Games has accomplished with the lighting in Killzone 2, there are real time shadow casting lights, there are also the scene lights that don't cast shadows, but they are placed in spots where you wouldn't notice them unless you went out and looked. I will say that the shadows in killzone 2 could be a bit sharper, and I hope they will be in Killzone 3.
