2016 is going to be a monster year for Sony. All those dudes talking about how the system has no games will have to find some other thing to complain about. Sony is bringing it strong this year.
2015 was a kind of weak year overall. While there were monsters like Fallout 4, Witcher 3, Arkham Knight, and Metal Gear Solid V, most of the heavy hitters came out late in the year.
With that said, I think this is a pretty solid list of 2015 games. Coming up with this couldn't have been easy but I like what is presented here.
Wish this was on PS4.
She better be able to talk unlike Link!
I need to check this one out.
By what Koei Tecmo said, this seems to be a case of self-censorship. They weren't forced to not release the game. They felt that they couldn't, given the culture climate in the West these days.
Whether they did it to redirect blame is something we don't know for sure. I'm just going off what they said. Again, with everything that is happening in gaming now, I don't blame them for wanting to avoid all the backlash this title would no doubt ignite.
While this was a well written article, I have to disagree with some of it. I'm a proponent of 'censorship is never right' and I don't think anything should be banned or, in this case, limited. We live in a world now where people want to not see things that are offensive to them and try to actively block anything of that nature. That is wrong and stifles creativity.
As gamers and as people, we should want to have MORE diversity, not less. These two games show t...
These games are good imo.
I see your point and you might be right on that front. I'm speaking for myself here since I don't enjoy MP-only games. I'm looking forward to the Amy Hennig-lead Star Wars game since that one will have SP. I'm not knocking Battlefront in anyway. I played it and thought it was solid. It just isn't for me. Personally, I would have preferred any story to no story but that's me.
I had to pass on this game since it has no single player mode.
I got to try this out myself. It's cool that they managed to get the entire game onto mobile.
Can we get more games like this that aren't 60+ hour open world experiences? This is a breath of fresh air this year. Go Lara!
The survival elements seems kind of intimidating. Fallout 3 had them to an extent, but this sounds like they went deeper. I look forward to seeing how they balance survival and fun in this title.
This game looks pretty cool.
Let's stop pretending Ben Kuchera matters.
Who has the money to buy all of this stuff?
Sounds like a game that can be skipped. Looks like 343 didn't exactly deliver.
I don't know how I feel about the "figure it out yourself" aspect but I'm sure some will find that refreshing.
Cool! I need to check this game out!
The Xbox One stuck back in 2015. They did great and regained faith from gamers but it didn't help them close the gap. The console war is effectively over so it's best for Xbox folks to just enjoy their games and not worry about winning. Even Phil Spencer said as much.
