I wish all developers where like Rockstar and Naughty Dog.
Killzone 2 and 3 are quite good. Shadow Fall is disappointing. Killzone: 6/10 Killzone 2: 9/10 Killzone 3: 9.5/10 Killzone Shadow Fall: 7/10
The graphics are gorgeous but the single player is abysmal. Not fun at all. Much prefer KZ 2 + 3. Multi is a beast tho and is working like a boss unlike Battlefield 4 which is straight up broken.
Totally agree with you there. I loved Resistance. It was Call of Duty, Halo, and Battlefield all rolled into one. Criminally underrated franchise. The single player, the co-op, and competitive multi all kicked some serious ass.
Even as a fan of the series, this is the worst one since Deadlocked. Personally, I think it is time to let the series just die...it had it's run and it was a blast but it has been milked to death.
It is ridiculous how people bellyache at the $3 price tag per map for Call of Duty, when the price is the same $3 per map in Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2!!!And the same thing with Microsoft on the Halo: Reach maps, well actually $3.33 per map! You guys are too funny that it is perfectly fine when other developers do it, but all of a sudden it is blasphemy and milking when Activision does it!
Man, Socom: Confrontation was an absolute abortion. So many bugs that it makes Call of Duty look polished. I have to admit the laggy ass menus on that game did make me lol though!
I am kind of surprised Modern Warfare 3 has not been announced yet, we all know its coming so why the hold up? Either they are scared of Battlefield 3 (which is looking to be a Juggernaut) or they have been cooking up something good and will surprise us all.
They need to get rid of the huge, pointless, ugly bullet bar at the bottom right. It just eats up space for no reason at all. Everything else looks ACE though!
Seriously hope not...who the hell wants to play a GTA in France? Screw that.
It is average, like a 7.5/10 nothing special. The graphics and sound effects are weak, the campaign is super short, and the online is a generic Call of Duty meets Battlefield clone. I did like the hit detection markers, the dark story, and the look/feel of the weapons though. A sequel could bring it around but it will never be a huge franchise.
Haven't played it but from the videos I have seen it looked like a crappy, low budget quality game which is why I avoided it. Still sticking with Bad Company 2 as my online shooter.
Wow, damage control...much?
The lack of content and replayability killed it. The campaign while AWESOME is only around 6 hours, the Echo mode is repetitive and boring, and Anarchy mode is just lame. It needed more Anarchy maps (only 6?) as well as split screen support, and campaign co-op.
I bet a twist will reveal her as Drake's mother...I just see it coming.
I have the been playing the X Box 360 demo and let me tell ya it SUCKS. Laggy net code, terrible frame rate, incredibly large amount of texture pop-in etc. I have never seen a game with this much pop-in, it practically builds the map in front of your eyes (Pier 17 map especially). Whenever you die or watch a killcam the game does this weird spaz out zoom all over the place. The game is a friggin bugged out mess. It is so much like Call of Duty that it is practially a clone. I...
BRING IT TED! WOOT!!!
It is actually 6 years old. Call of Duty 2 from 2005 was the first game running on the IW Engine. It has just been yearly modifications to it since then.
Black OPs had solid single-player graphics but the multiplayer graphics were FUGLY.
Yeah they said it was in-game footage on their twitter. http://twitter.com/battlefi...
