Ugh, no you got it WAY WRONG. A director has complete creative control on the film; from top to bottom they run the show and manage everything. Their job is bring the screenplay to life essentially. They hire/fire whoever they want to assist them in the task. A producer acts in the interest of the studio and themselves to make the most money possible. I agree man, Skate. was sick. I had a lot of fun with it, it's just that it had lots of bugs. I had the PS3 version which lags a lot online, connection issues and random framerate drops. I still loved it though, so I know the sequel will be better, now that EA knows how to program for the PS3. I hope it has rumble, trophies, and custom soundtracks!
EA is getting better, but I am still hesitant about buying their titles. I got burned too many times in the past. At least it seems they will support 09' as opposed to what they did with 08' (PS3 version). I love footbal so I will likely get it, but I still wish 2K Games had the license instead of EA.
I never played Kameo but I agree with Perfect Dark being boring. Everything was too shiny and just well...crap. I don't care if it got a 9.0 on gamespot.com, that game SUCKS!!!

This will be great. Gore Verbinski is a superb director who did a wonderful job with The Ring, The Weather Man and the Pirates series. And it's being written by John Logan who did (The Last Samurai, The Aviator, Sweeney Todd, and Gladiator).

The graphics still suck and the engine is SO OUTDATED but it still looks like a fun game, and knowing Valve it will be. Looking forward to taking limbs off in 4 player Co-op!!!!!!!
EA fail's once again! They just don't get it! I have never seen a company make the same mistakes OVER AND OVER! Granted this game looked awful but for the Mercenary fans, that really sucks.
Random frame rate dips and longer load times than the 360 & PC versions throughout Portal, Half Life 2 and the episodes on the PS3. However, Team Fortress 2 is a complete disaster. It lags horribly, drops connections, has tons of visual glitches like clipping, hovering objects etc., long load times, sudden death launches randomly, no DLC, no patches or balances/upgrades like the 360 and PC. So yeah, it is crap. Don't buy it.
EA and Valve are ****wits who screwed us over, but just move on Mike, it is obvious no fixes are coming. EA is so goddamn incompetent and Valve have to be the laziest and most biased ***holes on the planet, not to mention they are lead by a "fat, ugly, 400lb, walking blob of meat named Gabe "haven't seen my willy in 10 years" Newell. Don't worry he has maybe 6-7 years left before he drops dead of a heart attack.
If you would have asked me back in summer of 06' before the Wii launched. I would have said it would've flopped hard and come in last place by far. I couldn't have been more wrong. I still can't believe the sales on that thing. I still don't want one though.

Maybe if this was done 3 years ago, I would have cared. But, I like many, have moved on to other things. This game is so friggin' old now (came out in 2004) and inferior to things like Call of Duty 4, WarHawk, Battlefield, Rainbow Six etc. Valve takes WAY too long to get moving on things. I never understood how it is supposed to cool the consoles down when it requires MORE ENERGY which will produce MORE HEAT to run the intercooler. It just looks like someone made the colors darker and turned the sharpness up a notch. I wouldn't consider that better graphics, LOL! It is a great looking game though, and the in-seat view is great.
