It was kinda easy to shoot down choppers in the beta with the AA guns, especially since they didn't have counter flares unlocked yet. #3.1

It all comes down to the fact that it's very expensive to make games, you need hundreds of developers on a AAA game, developers that are highly talented and make a lot of money. When studios spend that kind of money, they usually want something "safe" rather than "creative". #5
