This new serious sam looks amazing, I'm actually a little surprised at how pumped I am to play more Serious Sam.
It's a full MP only game likely to be sold for 15-20 bucks, perhaps more on the PC since it will likely have more features.
As someone who plays both PC and console games I can say from experience, nothing on the consoles touches: CS, Quake or Tribes skill wise. MAYBE SOCOM back in the day, but that's long gone.
I'm still waiting for one of you to finally accept my 1v1 CS or Quake Live M/K v Pad. All you need is a wired controller 360 or PS3, Xpadder(motioninjoy for the PS3) and a copy of CS or a account for Quake Live. Hell we can do a 2v1 and I guarantee I will still win, anything to jus...
That wasn't even CS, that was CZ and the recoil had already been adjusted in the PC version and Xbox version. Very easy to get headshots in that game on the Xbox.
You are right though, major adjustments would need to be made to get the game to play semi smooth on the consoles.
Do not know how I feel about this...
"behind the boat is a building that clashes with the sky, standing out as a single slab of grey; a hallmark of CoD's ageing engine struggling with draw distance. Similarly, animations of another playing running are the same you'll have seen since 2007."
Yep, check out "the champ".
It's Codemasters so I would assume so.
I lol'd when she mentioned Black Ops, if you also look at her favorite games you will find most of them came out within the last two years.
Not good form for someone trying to put on a mask of being a "hardcore" gamer.
I have a girlfriend, if she's wrong I correct her and I don't get my head bit off.
You aren't the only one who had been watching Borderlands before the switch. The switch served the game well, I really can't see any detractor or reason the game would have been better with a different or more realistic style.
With the humor and vibe they were going for the old style would have been much more of a throw off then any Cel Shading. Honestly, I find it hard to believe this is even a point of contention for people and Borderlands.
It's...

Because Borderlands with the old look, looked great. /s
@MOTY
Sure, but as someone who has played RTS since Dune 2000...I found it to be lacking. It was simplistic and kinda boring, the boredom is undoubtedly due to the pacing which was ridiculously slow.
I'm glad you enjoyed the game, at least from your post I think you enjoyed it. Citing sales and Review averages isn't really an argument in my eyes. The game had flaws, and even though it had interesting ideas with base building and unit control, it was s...
@Raven
It wasn't 343 or Bungie but Halo Wars was sub par.
Shhh...I think he might be handicapped.
The gameplay to Crysis was pretty subjective, you weren't forced down a narrow corridor and told to do what the game wants you to do. The gameplay was always what you made it, if you just ran around with max armor then yeah it's going to be a bit boring.
I had lots of fun playing Crysis stealthily or just messing with the KPA. I will agree that area's involving aliens could be a bit bland, but overall I found Crysis to be a pretty enjoyable experience.
Yeah, really don't see this as an issue. I'm one of a few PS3 owners I personally know who even have a Sixaxis.
It's a free open platform and this INDIVIDUAL is free to do this as long as he isn't planning on using it for monetary gain.
CLAN MATCHES.
Your delusion makes me lol.
I have the chance to speak to many different people, "hardcore" and fairly new to this hobby of ours. What I hear time and time again is "CoD is easy, Battlefield is not, so I play CoD"
Face it, people like CoD because CoD strokes the ego. Battlefield can be far more unforgiving, but even then when you learn how everything works you and your squad become a very efficient killing machine.
Steam, D2D etc etc. Going by retail is a waste of time, especially when looking at PC games. Would also love a list of third party console games not headed to the PC that most PC gamers would really want.
Does this make me an elitist?
