The Playstation Now reveal wasn't anything new so I doubt they caught Microsoft unaware. It's been known (except for the branding) since Sony purchased Gaikai in 2012. They even mentioned they were bringing it to the PS4 in 2014 during E3 last summer. So yeah, nice announcement but pretty much a known factor. Just FYI, Microsoft demoed game streaming in-house last September with Halo 4 being streamed to a Windows Phone so this is something they've been working on ...
This has been known about both systems since before launch. This is nothing new.
MS wasn't at CES at all so that's pretty much a non-issue.
Eventually but a release date hasn't been announced yet.
Yeah, it will support remote play on the PS4 version (which will have bigger worlds, bigger multiplayer) but will be out for the PS Vita as well (which will be on par with the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions).
Yes, it is actually coming to the PS Vita.
Not yet. Microsoft has said that it will bring free games to the Xbox One eventually but it will take about a year before they get a big enough library of games to start putting free ones on there.
If a company feels that a request for information is unlawful, they can refuse to comply. How often that really happens with the threat of the federal govt coming down on your business like a ton of bricks is anybody's guess.
Right but that is for individual instances where a lawful warrant has been issued by state or federal enforcement agencies. The leaks from Snowden today say that the NSA performed mass surveillance /collection on LIVE users. That's a different animal and one that any company will likely not comply with.
Yep, that was last week. Those deals are expired.
Yep, right now the buy three get a $50 gift card at Toys R Us is the best launch week deal for the Xbox One. Oddly, Target is not running any kind of deal at all for the Xbox One. Nothing. Zip. Zilch.
I think it's pretty simple to deduce. 1) As a developer/publisher, you want to get the game out on the system with the most users. That would be the PS3. 2) The PS4 and Xbox One versions are supposed to support bigger worlds, more players in multiplayer, etc whereas the PS3 and PS Vita versions will pretty much be identical to the Xbox 360 edition. 3) 4J Studios is a relatively small studio so I was surprised when it was announced they would be s...
So then wouldn't this be the case for the PS4, Wii U, Thor the Dark World, My Little Pony, and the latest cat video as well? Not seeing the relevance to the Xbox One other than to cash in on the SEO.
It's not a price drop. Just a one day sale.
It's an in-store thing. Not in the ad.
The PS Vita is going to be interesting. The limiting factor for mobile devices is the memory. However, the Vita has 512mb of system memory and another 128mb of VRAM. That suggests it should at least be on par with the Xbox 360 version.
The PC version is two or three releases ahead and being developed solely by Mojang. 4J Studios is handling the console port while adding console specific features. It's unlikely the console version will ever be on the same schedule as PC as a result.
I'm surprised they were able to get that. At the Atlanta event, the booth attendants were jumping on people at even a hint of pointing a cellphone or camera at any of the screens with BF4.
I dunno. This would be a bit like a sequel to James Cameron's Titanic...
Cash prizes are only for USA. All the physical goodies like the PS Vita, graphics cards, etc are worldwide.
