It's such a shame it's an ioS game because the artwork is pretty nice. #1.2

Flappy Bird does look a lot like the Cheep Cheeps from Mario. #1

I hope this game sells well. I really, really do.

I want this type of survival horror to come back. :( #2.1.1

Oh man, wouldn't that be amazing!

Can I live in the alternate universe where Team Silent never disbanded? :( #1.1.1

Yeah, those ghosts were a pain in the ass.

I didn't mind the backtracking though...but I wish the levels had been slightly altered the second time around to make it feel different or more scary/dangerous. Fatal Frame 1 did something like that, where the mansion got progressively more warped and disturbing as the game went on, so that it didn't feel like you were walking through the same rooms over and over again. #7.1.4

I hated Dirge of Cerberus tbh, and would go as far to say it's just as bad (if not worse) than much of the FFXIII games.

The gameplay was clunky, the story changes were weird, the villains were generic (e.g. the Russian spy, the burly tank, the effeminate tortured soul, etc), and the world was nowhere near as beautiful and varied as it was in FFVII (I hated how grey and dull Kalm looked in DoC).

It was just such a bizarre way to go about making an FFVII s... #1.1.3

I think it depends on the reason you play games and just how many flaws you can overlook. I can see why a person wouldn't like Deadly Premonition, for example. It DOES have a lot of faults, and many of them are big enough to make a person put down the game for good. But for me, Deadly Premonition wasn't just a fun story, but it was also a genuinely unique experience. I have never played a game like it. So even though the gameplay was awful and it had an array of other flaws, I could l... #3.1.1

Whenever I see a "best gaming asses" list, I always think of Old Snake! :D #6.1

I definitely think so. Deadly Premonition had absolutely atrocious gameplay, but the bizarre story and characters are what kept me playing. And I'm glad I did. Because despite its faults (and there are many faults!) it was one of the most fun games I played all last gen. #3

"Why would a 'PR' event do something like this, if it wasn't something commonplace?"

Senran Kagura is a schoolgirl fetish type game, so obviously the PR event is going to reflect that. It's aim is to appeal to the type of people who would buy such a game, not to be a serious representation of Japanese men as a whole.

It's just ridiculous to look at one small area of a country's popular culture and to assume it represents the... #19.3.2

I really hate the whole "Japan is a country of pervs" stereotype, because it really isn't true. Schoolgirl fetishes aren't exclusive to Japan, and in many ways Japan is still very conservative when it comes to sex (e.g. kissing and sex scenes are still seen as risque in live-action Japanese shows and movies) and images of penises and vaginas must legally be censored in all media including porn.

Western media loves portraying Japan as this bizarre place fill... #19.3

Aww, I really loved Japan's food when I was over there. I'd love to go back there just to try out more restaurants and sushi bars. I guess it depends on the type of food you had while there though, and whether you like seafood or not.

I will admit...I wasn't a fan of many Japanese desserts, because they were really sweet and sugary. I'm not a big fan of super-sugary sweets. #7.2.1
