I think the dev team did a lot of experimentation with Soul Reaver, so it wasn't as polished or coherent as other platformer games. SR2 fixed up a lot of that, imo. It was easier to navigate and Raziel usually explained where he needed to go. The puzzles were also better.

With that being said, I think SR's gameplay was alot better than the Tomb Raider series' gameplay...and at the time, everyone was talking about how amazing Tomb Raider's platforming and puzzles... #2.1

Am I the only only who doesn't care who the main character is? I'll just be happy if the game is half as good or scary as the early RE games. #8

I've played through the game multiple times, and have never come across these so-called "horrible bugs". I seem to recall it was IGN who started that rumor and it snowballed from there, though I haven't heard anyone have any major problems with the game. Try checking out the forums over at Cameras Lens - hardly anyone had any problems with the game.

The worst thing I came across were the characters sometimes getting stuck on the corner of walls or tables if... #1.2.1

Even though it wasn't released in the West, the creepy "disease" faces in Fatal Frame 4 were pretty horrifying. Especially when it starts happening to your main characters: http://www.youtube.com/watc... #14

I think Nintendo only owned the rights to FF4, and not the whole series. But then it makes no sense that Tecmo would release the remake on the Wii (Especially when it's core fanbase were PS2 owners).

If Tecmo hated how Nintendo treated FF4, why would they do this all over again? FF4 sold under 90,000 copies because Nintendo gave it no advertising, no mentions at any game conventions, and didn't release it in the west. Barely anybody even knew it existed. So what the... #1.1.1

I always assumed Pyramid's pyramid WAS his face. o.O

But then, if we're talking about horrifying faces in the Silent Hill series, I'm surprised the author didn't mention the nurses: http://nxe.weebly.com/uploa... #5.1

I can't believe Tecmo are releasing the Fatal Frame 2 remake on Wii. Didn't they learn their lesson after Nintendo's mistreatment of Fatal Frame 4? #1

"Well i have seen a lot of hentai. And this to me looks like a hentai game."

That's probably because the marketing for Catherine was a bit...misleading. The picture you see of Catherine showing her cleavage on the box is about as raunchy as the game gets, tbh. #1.3

I kept trying to take out the tank with my guns, even though I knew only a rocket launcher would be able do it. I just wanted to stop the tank from killing all the villagers ASAP. lol #3.1.1

Especially considering the scene adds to the story. It wasn't just added for the sake of being "edgy" or controversial. It genuinely adds something to the plot. #7.1

Such an amazing game. Now I feel the urge to replay it again. :O

It's sad to hear Tony Jay's voice though. It's a shame he won't be able to reprise his role as the Elder God if a new LoK game is ever made. R.I.P. #1

I felt bad watching Tenzin's village being destroyed and his neighbors being killed in Uncharted 2. I know I personally didn't kill them myself, but I still felt like such a dick for being the character who led Lazarevic right to the little village. :( #3

"Unless these arent your articles in which case, you should put who is writing it in the desc on N4G."

Um...I did though? The site's name is in the description. o.O

And all of the fancast articles were written by different authors (their names are right under the title at the source.) #4.1.3

According to Bioware the original default FemShep was made at the last minute and didn't have the same level of detail that MaleShep had. But if that's the case, they should have just updated her look to be more detailed. Not completely revamped her.

Though I preferred the general look of the original FemShep over the new one. I think she would have looked pretty badass in Mass Effect 3's advertising campaign. #4.1

Me? I'm not sure why you think I'd only cast based on actors who sound the part. Of course I'd cast actors who both look and sound the part. o.O

But then again, I have no idea who I'd cast for a Mortal Kombat movie. If I was a director, I'd probably send my company bankrupt trying to find the right people. :O #4.1.2

I think the problem is, a lot of people who make these articles choose actors based on whether they look like the characters, and not whether they can act like the characters. Take Jensen Ackles for example - He's a reasonable actor and he looks a bit like Johnny Cage, but from all the roles I've seen him in, he couldn't pull off Johnny Cage if his life depended on it. The role needs to be played by someone more sprightly and cocky. Jensen Ackles is more of a serious, gruff, "... #4.1

I don't think it's that there has been a massive boost in these types of games nowadays. I think they're just becoming more noticed and recognized. Back in the day, these types of games were all shoved together in the back of gaming magazines and completely forgotten about. It's nice to see them finally getting the recognition they deserve. #1.1.1
