You don't say. :D
@AbortMission
Read my comment again. At what point was I complimenting Nintendo or downplaying Sony/Microsoft's consoles? I feel sorry for the brain-dead retards that agreed with your comment.
@ChickeyCantor
I was saying it was marketed similarly to the Wii AT LAUNCH. I'm not sure Nintendo really knows how to approach it now. But yes, software-wise the console definitely has a promising year ahead of it.
Of course not. How dare they make a distinction that was never even mentioned in the listing?
I haven't played Beyond, and despite the reviews I would still like to. But I can say I loved The Walking Dead because it was designed intelligently, keeps the player on their toes and is written quite well in my opinion.
No but it would have benefited from Ubisoft not marketing and releasing it like monkeys.
Going multiplatform didn't hurt the game, delaying it until the SAME MONTH as Wind Waker HD, Wonderful 101 and GTAV is what hurt Rayman in particular. Not to mention the PR nightmare Rayman suffered after the delay. It sold best on Wii U and Wii U owners were the ones who were most burned by that act. Go figure.
@LOL_WUT
That's because your criticisms are hardly ever consistent or even logical. Right now you're just piggy-backing off of what I said. Just stop.
For all of the really lousy, subjective and just immature criticisms I've seen thrown at this console, this one in particular actually seems sound and logical.
Fact is the Wii U was marketed similarly to the Wii and now has generated consumer confusion. Many people don't realize what the point is or that it's even a new product and that much Nintendo has only themselves to blame. I think it's salvageable, but Nintendo better do something with it and quickly.
You'll have to ask Konami about Castlevania. A new Metroid is not far off since Donkey Kong is just about done. Give it another couple of years.
That game is still in development. Wind Waker was made to hold over Zelda fans. This has been established since January.
And notice, no one clicked on this link. I think it goes to show that no one cares if the Wii U does better. They want it to do worse so they have something to laugh at.
Gamers on N4G: They don't love their favorite console, they just hate yours.
Honestly, I only think there should be an HD remake if there is a really good reason for it. For example, Ocarina of Time, Star Fox and Wind Waker were all remade around their ten year anniversaries.
(They were also developed on platforms in desperate need of more content at the time).
All I'd ever ask for as far as Valve/Nintendo work is TF2 Complete on Wii U. Since it supports the F2P model, they could easily support the Mann Co. store, maybe even offer different methods of playing the game (like touch aiming or gyro aiming).
But hey, a joint game made by Valve and Nintendo would be more than welcome in my book. They're two of my favorite game companies.
Well at least your comment was an opinion and not everyone agrees with it. It's better than stating a fact and having people click the disagree button.
Watch this: *ahem* The sky is blue.
@ABizzel
You realize you're debating on a subjective matter, right? No one HAS to think God of War is better than anything. I like God of War, but I don't think it's the masterpiece everyone hails it to be.
@Qrphe
In all fairness, that's a screenshot from an early build of the game. I'm not saying it's going to be 1080p or that it's going to be 720p, all I'm saying is we don't know what the final resolution will be.
Besides, this doesn't negate the games that are 1080p.
Troll defending a troll. Typical.
Last time I checked, trolling is against the rules. You and MadMen are trolls and therefor the rules dictates that neither of you deserve any bubbles. If this comment system worked even half-decently neither of you would be higher than a single bubble.
You seriously don't deserve any bubbles.
To those reading this comment, click on this MadMen's comment history. This comment is in some shape or form EVERY COMMENT he posts in these articles. This is a troll.
You know what is taking it up with SE? Not buying the stupid thing and waiting for the price to be more fair. Which is exactly what I'm going to do. Square Enix can have my money when they A) stop sucking and B) price their games fairly across all platforms.
I don't care if this version was tailored for Wii U, it has the same amount of raw content across all platforms. It is not fair at all to make people pay $20 more on gamepad features alone.
If you actually read the article it surrounds the early flack that the 2DS received when it was initially revealed.
And if the sales fall again, like the last few Wii U sales spikes?
Not to rain on your parade, but let's wait until these Vita sales at least become consistent before we write off its woes.
