As a long time fighting game player I can tell you first hand Killer Instinct looks anything but solid. The flaws are obvious even in gameplay videos. Number one is Glacius can zone and control the entire screen with his normals as well as doing brain dead 50-70% damage combos.

Green arrow is definitely one of the weakest characters. He can do good thing in the hands of a good player but with slightly above average zoning and shitty up close he won't ever been more than okay. He relys to much on reads. Shazam is a high risk medium reward character. Even with his trait. Everything he does is super punishable and slow and his combos arnt big enough to make the risk worth it.

As for the "cliches" you speak of, that's what makes the city feel real. That's how things were in 1912 and they are not cliches they add to the lore of the city and make it much more believable.

Sorry why dante? He has easy 150 ap combos angle dash gets you anywhere he can combo out of throws has a sick conter AND can combo out of a move that hit behind him PLUS he can combo he level 1. This review is nothing short of pathetic. You lost your save file yes that is 100% a good thing to mention and maybe bring your score down .2-.5 nothing more. The gameplay mechanics even if repetitive in this game are already above the average. The combat is very fluid and nice especially when compared with other best em ups. You can't name one that does it better. That should put your review at 6/10 already.
