Well said.
@Utalkin2me: No need to PM, we can have a public discussion.
Yes, I quoted a website (among multiple websites) that used that metric to talk about players playing the game. EA probably won't reveal numbers until their next investor call, so that's the best we can do. EA officially stated that the first week Bf1 player base is double that of Bf 4, so I'm looking for solid numbers.
@EDMIX: Whoa, you leave RS:S out of this. :)
That game is alive and doing well.
@Utalkin2me:
It's hard to come by concrete numbers, but I gleaned them from several sources.

These are the UK numbers.
Call Of Duty: Black Ops II (2012) – 1,386,000
Call Of Duty: Ghosts – 690,000 (2013)
Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare – 730,000 (2014)
Call Of Duty: Black O...
Stop saying such ludicrous things. Everybody knows they sacrifice their children on Fridays. Thursdays is live chickens.
It did outsell Bf1, but the main focus is CoD games are trending down. Activision knows this. Notice how they don't show players online on the multiplayer main hub? Notice how leaderboards are gone? They've said they'll patch it in, but they couldn't do that during the 3 years it took to make the game? Sounds like bunk? Then how come MWR has leaderboards? Because Activision knew the demand was high for that game.
1.4 can do 4K and HDR.
That's disappointing. I thought companies would move on from that, by now.
Is CoD still using peer to peer?
I remember being floored by this demo but also being a big skeptical. I wasn't sure they would be able to involve Elizabeth as much as they were planning and I guess they couldn't.
Still loved the story, as convoluted as it was.
1 was the best. Wrex for the win.
Yooooowzah!
I wouldn't call it chest beating. I would call it using Titanfall 2 to try and take away CoD players from IW. So far, it hasn't worked.
I think a better comparison would be Week 1 concurrent players of BO III and IW.
He was there for a good while. Thanks for Bf 1.
Triggered!
Reverse psychology for the win!
Ghosts...ouch.
I think the writer is being a bit of a sunshine pumper. "Successful" multiplayer beta? I saw a lot of valid hate on youtube (valid meaning problems with the game, not just spewing hate). Not receive an overly poor response? 12 of the 35 reviews posted scored the game 75/100 or lower.
I think the numbers sold will still be high. But I don't think they'll be record breaking.
It currently has a Metacritic of 81. The highest score is 100 and the lowest is 50. I haven't been following CoD for a long time. Is that on par with the last couple of games?
Do any of these deals come with a physical copy of the game?
