Considering Red Dead Redemption had nothing to do with Red Dead Revolver - and that even Bioshock Infinite has nothing to do with the original two Bioshock titles set in Rapture - and not to mention the majority of Final Fantasy games that bear no story continuation with each other...

I'd say this could be considered a sequel too.

I don't think a cosplay hit-whore site like Loot Ninja can comment about "values", much the value of the Wii.

They never "lost" their reputation in the first place. When it's the studio that was behind Okami and Godhand, and has produced such gems as Bayonetta and now Vanquish, you have to be crazy to think that a single bad port of one of their titles - THAT THEY DIDN'T EVEN HANDLE THE PORTING FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE (it was Sega) - could possibly destroy their reputation.

Will NowGamer ever stop with these unimaginative, repetitive lists?

And heat-spamming their stories on to the front page?

Most of the features it "introduced" have already been in FPS titles before Halo.

You could command vehicles in Operation Flashpoint. It also had a similar "open battlefield" format.

The "regenerating shield" concept of Halo, which later evolved into the "regenerating health" system in Halo 2 and 3 was first introduced in Faceball 2000 for the SNES and Genesis. Halo and Call of Duty were the franchises that popularized ...

True. As such, I wouldn't be picking up the casual games (for any motion controller system, even if it were the Wii) but it's good to know there are other good launch titles to occupy myself with before the big stuff hits - which would only be a few months later anyway. Not to mention the Move patched games that'll also become available.

From what I've seen, reviews for the Move have been positive but only Sports Champions has been getting good reviews.

An interesting read. So this is how far MS wanted to go to milk the Halo franchise. Granted, it's got some great stories to tell. I wish Halo Legends was a series rather than a one-shot DVD.

Square-Enix stated a long time back that Agito XIII would only be released when Versus XIII is out of the door.

So if Versus were to hit in 2011, then that puts Agito for 2012-2013.

Then again, SE also said a long time ago that FFXIII would be exclusive to the PS3. So Agito could come out sooner.

I haven't really tried inFamous, so can't say but I won't deny that Prototype was tons of fun. The sense of power and progression was great - in no time I was jacking helicopters, dive bombing into pavements and impaling people by the dozens. Was indeed great fun. Shame they haven't made a sequel yet. If the amount of polish given to inFamous 2 was applied to Prototype, the results could be amazing.

Most of the stuff we've seen was either pre-scripted or not 1:1. The real problem lies in the fact that for the stuff that works, it's meant for casual gamers which hey, it's great news for them but doesn't really get me excited.

A shame no one has watched this yet. It's actually a pretty well made music video, and the band ain't half bad. Also, live action Prototype. :D

@DarthJay:

My problem is the way this article is worded. It just feels like the grammar and punctuation are really, really broken or just plain AWOL. It's no use reporting it now, so if you could pass a word on to the author to at least proof-read his articles better in the future, it'd be appreciated (and no, that's not sarcasm, i'm honestly asking as a favour).

@alirazaqpur:

Here's your grammar mistakes, since the reporting box is too small (and it looks like you went back and corrected a bunch of them). The bracketed segments are the corrected portions.

"When you come face to face with King Koopa, it's as easy [as] jumping over him."

"Geno can take Exor out with one special move. Sure it's sweet you can [deal] that much damage..."

Man, I just gave up on Tekken after the fifth game. When so many franchises like Street Fighter IV, BlazBlue and Marvel vs. Capcom 3 are trying new things, it just pains me to see Tekken still stuck in the same place.

OT, is the seventh game currently in production? Thought Namco were busy with Tekken X Street Fighter.

It made for an awesome PC game in it's day as well. Incorporated the "To win a war, you must lose a battle and vice versa" concept quite nicely. I'm surprised no one names it in their top 10 horror game lists. It's an instant horror classic along with Sanitarium, Call of Cthulhu and Undying.

"Ever since ET for the Atari 2600 wowed gamers worldwide..."

ROFLMAO, what? That game nearly sank the entire gaming industry back then. There's even an ongoing urban legend that they had to bury all the copies no one wanted/bought in the desert because they didn't know what else to do with them. :P
