Quite a few games don't have DLC actually, F.E.A.R. 3 being one I can name off the top of my head.
I asked him whether it would be single player or multiplayer, but he didn't specify. I would assume it's multiplayer maps and probably the skins from preorders and the Global Resistance browser game, but I don't know.

Which is one of my points. Nintendo are still churning out games and remaking games from 20 year old franchises. Where are the new IPs?
Actually, a Sony system has never launched with Uncharted and LittleBigPlanet.
Also, there has been 2 Uncharted games and and 3 LittleBigPlanet games.

Nice piece dude, and I do agree.
Unfortunately, I can't see homophobia and sexism dropped from gaming culture anytime soon, which is a pity. It's one of the very reasons why gaming isn't considered to be a mature hobby by the mainstream media, which is a stereotype in itself.
I just hope that in the future the gaming population will mature and we can leave these terms behind us.

Yeah, it's unfortunate that iconic Square developers and execs such as Sakaguchi-san aren't at Square anymore, those guys made Final Fantasy what it was and it hasn't been the same without them. It was just unfortunate that he made The Spirits Within, as that was basically what led to his resignation.
Even Uematsu-san isn't a Square employee anymore, although he does do freelance work for them.
I really think Square need to take a little break...
Indeed, Final Fantasy VIII's music was fantastic, but I had a much more personal connection with X that means it will always be my number one.
Nobuo Uematsu is a pure genius though, every Final Fantasy soundtrack he has composed has been a masterpiece.

Secondly, we don't review based on hype, or what we feel we should expect from the game. While we may want more than what the game is giving us, we have to review it based on the package that is being sold. If what is on offer is done well, then the game will get a good score.
