Dunno, but yesterday I played for the whole evening and had 0 problems.... ok, minuss the ECM jammer on my jet, I just can't get it to activate when I want it or I just don't know how to use it properly.
I live in Latvia and I think we are in the top 5 or 10 in the world as far as internet speed goes :3 Too bad I can't say the same thing about my/our wage.
Hah, I have 100Mbps line w/ IPTV for about 40$, can get 200Mps for 40$ w/o IPTV, I can even get 500Mbps line + IPTV (full package icl. HD channels) + landline (free calls on all landline No.) + addidional bells & whistles for about 100$ :3
Then again, I don't live in the states, you got a pretty bad web over there, but that's to be expected for such a big territory.

Well, the real beauty of Astros is their MixAmp and not the headset (haven’t used it though). If you already have a pair of good headphones then you only need the mixamp. With that thing (and Senn HD598) I don’t need no UAVs in COD, I already have a 3D one in my head/ears ;)
Btw, you don't need batteries if you buy the old version (wired, USB power), but you can use them to power the MixAmp. It needs 4 AA batteries and I think it burns through them in ~20hrs, not sure t...
That's why I bought Sennheiser HD598 and astro mixamp, superb sound quality with 5.1/7.1 support ;)

No it didn't, Confrontation was a technical mess initially, but the gameplay itself was very solid, after the patches Confrontation is above and beyond Socom 4 which just plainly sucks.
I had something similliar.. I wanted to play COD4 few days back, so put the disc in my PS3, tried to boot it, but after an update prompt (which it didn’t complete), it kicked me back to XMB and just restarted my system. Tried again, same thing. MW2 worked though.
Honestly, I haven't powered mine in months, damn Team Fortress 2 eating away all my gaming time >_<
I'm sorry, but imho, Sazh was one of the most annoying characters, together with Hope. The dude is the definition of bipolar. I just couldn't stop laughing at the stupidity that unfolded in a cutscene, just before he got his Eidolon - I lost my kid, there is no point in living anymore...Ok, ok, I'm fine now...Oh no, It's all your fault Vanille, now I'm gonna kill you... Well I can still proudly say that I beat Omega Weapon in FF8 when I was like twelve years old, that was almost 13 years ago ^_^
BTW, I thing one of/or the hardest bosses is Satan from SMT Digital Devil Saga 2, that guy just wipes your whole party in one hit and there is almost no way to avoid it.
Yeah, I'm in the same boat as you, got my salary like a week ago, payed my bills and got about 20 bucks left :( Not to mention that I still have a pile of unfinished games - UC2, Valkyrie Chronicles, RDR, FF13 and FO: New Vegas. CS 1.6, Team Fortress 2 and to a lesser extent BF3 are eating away too much of my gaming time :( Some how this gen I have turned from SP to MP and I'm not too happy about it, but it's so addicting.

Well you can't blame people for not trusting Famitsu who game FF13 39 out of 40 points. I was really exited for FF13, it was one of the reasons I bought my PS3 three years back, but now the game sits in a pile, half finished and collecting dust. As an RPG it may not be as bad as people make it out to be, but the real problem is that it doesn't earn the name Final Fantasy.

Agreed with above, I got a chance to play MW3 this weekend, borrowed a copy, and I’m quite dissapointed to say the least. It really is like a reskined MW2, the menus are the same, the emblems/titles are almost the same and/or made more horrible than in MW2. Played campaign(veteran), it’s ok, but the enemies are still dumb aimboting POS. Spec-ops also seemed like a letdown, didn’t have the chance to go trough all of them, but they were basically run’n’shoot, that’s it, in MW2 you had to man tu...
