I wasn't allowed to differentiate it with our site name, unfortunately.
Thanks for reading.
And no, "disappointing" does not mean "suck." It literally means "failing to fulfill someone's hopes or expectations."
Like all things based on opinions, disappointment is subjective.
The price cut was only NA and maybe the UK. They two places where they did outsell the PS4.
I'm personally not a fan of Nintendo's games anymore. I was 20 years ago, but I would rather play Titanfall than Mario Kart any day of the week. I don't think games are a matter of "good" or "bad" taste. Just preference.
As I said, Mario Kart 8 had votes, just not enough to make the top 10. Also, this top 10 IS an accurate representation of We The Nerdy's 2014.
What's to be skeptical about? We liked games that you didn't? Or that we didn't love games that you did?
No need to apologize though. Opinions.
Thanks for reading!
Thanks for reading. Not sure if you caught how the list was compiled, but it was based on the individual staffer's top 10 lists. Depending on position on the list (a #1 game received 10 pts, a #10 game received 1), and how many lists a respective game appeared on. Mario Kart 8 had some votes but not enough to make the top 10.
Titanfall had the most points, Destiny was on the most lists.
To be fair, different deals might have different clauses. Crazy, I know. That is, if we are or aren't subscribing to the notion that a parity clause can exist.
I think they mean the current trend of trying to make everything politically correct.
I want one as well, but that will never, ever happen. One of the benefits of PC is independent distribution. Consoles are closed. This will never get approved.
Or, people who know tech and know the latest iteration should at least be starting where the last left off. Weird, I know.
To spark conversation. Sorry if you have a problem with the existence of this article?
Actually, I had an argument with someone who insisted the PS4 wasn't rushed despite it not having basic functions that the PS3 has. That argument promoted me to write this article.
Or a damn media remote!
So someone having an abundance of free time is a bad thing?
Yeah, I just don't see it that way. Again, outside of RPGS and open-world games, campaigns have been about the same. Max Payne 2 was about 7 hours. I beat it in a day.
Well I don't usually go for them unless the game is fun to play.
Shorter campaigns compared to what? Besides RPGs I can't think of any games from the NES/SNES/pS1 era that had long campaigns. And I can think of a ton of moder games that do.
What if the games looks good and is a good game? Rather have a game that looks good and is good than looks terrible and is good.
