That would be a dumb business decision. First of all windows is their own platform lol. They should have been supporting it with games from the very beginning. They actually did for some time with the OG Xbox.
They Reach more people. And since Xbox is more focused on multi-player. Putting it on PC gives games a larger pool of people to play with.
As an Xbox gamer with a PC. I will definitely be playing more on my gaming laptop now that more Xbox games wil...

I like the fact that dauntless has Crossplay including PS4. But in terms of overall game quality there is just no contest.
I don't think anybody is expecting a superconsole. The most I hope comes out of this is a universal Crossplay system. If we're all using the exact same servers in the future, that should not be that difficult.

Mojang would never have been able to scale the way they did under Microsoft on their own. Putting it on all platforms including mobile and making it a part of education only happened because of Microsoft.
