No because the point of the picture is to show that HHG could never know something like that before anyone else.
Ads inside video games could work, but that all depends on the game itself. It doesn't make any sense for them to be in a Metal Gear game, regardless of it's intention because it draws you away from the game.
It would work perfectly inside games like GTA because it'll make you feel like it's part of the real world.

Sony issue companies like that with their own custom firmware, but even if they didn't it wouldn't matter because they wouldn't have any need to update the firmware. You think they require access to the PSN? *facepalm*

That's the most idiotic thing I've ever heard, it would be like owning a company that sells a tool for stealing any car and then saying "I don't want people using my creation for anything illegal".
If he doesn't want piracy then he should stop what he's doing since that would be a great way of actually STOPPING PIRACY.

It depends on their age, obviously 12 year old kids aren't going to be served if they pick up a game that has an '18' sticker.
Besides, it's been that way with movies for years now, I can't think of anyone who hasn't watched a movie before they were "supposed" to.
Exactly, it was hardly a "debate", more of a crucifiction. It doesn't help when the presenter is clearly biased, has two people against one and it certainly doesn't help that the show is aimed at older people who generally hate video games anyway.
It was the wrong type of show to have that kind of debate, that's for sure.
I felt bad for him because it seemed like everyone in that room was against him, however he made some really good points though, regarding the ratings and how it compares to DVD ratings.
Basically if you're a parent and you let your child play something they're not supposed to then that's YOUR fault, blaming the game is irrelevant, blaming the companies is irrelevant, these people are looking to place the blame elsewhere when it's their own responsibility as parents to make sure ...
I agree with that statement 100%, just look at the Resident Evil 4 screens for the Ipad, it's basically a joke.
Gaming should be the last thing people think about when they consider buying one.
The Ipad isn't designed for gaming, it's just a shame that they're forcing great games like Resident Evil 4 and making them look and play terrible.

You've nailed it, people think it's such a great profession just because you get paid to play video games. Try playing the same section over and over (of a game they choose for you to play) for hours at a time and then tell me if it's cool. xD
