Awesome job! I wish I could have been there. :)
LOL! That is so true man. Yep, they are good at covering their backs.
I found it interesting that someone decided to finally take on the "core gamer" which finally deserves a definition other than always hearing about the "casual" or "hardcore" gamer. I did think it was interesting that you said Assassin's Creed and Zombie U were "core" games when they technically are hardcore since they both involve blood and guts and the like. You were pretty dead on with acknowledging Call of Duty as a hardcore game and I think y...
Totally awesome! I just got 2000 Wii Points for FREE from http://www.freewiipoints.cc
Like they have said elsewhere, there is no real set in stone fact that this information Martin came across (even with a hack) is really true. Even if it is who cares? Sometimes things can take a little longer to load but once the loading is done and the game is ready to play then its all about the experience the player will enjoy while playing. Its just a fact of the world we live in...."gotta have it! And, gotta have it now!".
You couldn't have summed it up better man. Look at Batman Arkham City:Armored Ed. It has really crappy frame rate issues and yet still manages to have pretty good graphics.
Now that Disney bought LucasArts I wonder if they will add Star Wars characters to the next Kingdom Hearts? LOL! :)
I would say it is more "next" in the "gen" of Nintendo consoles. As far as being next gen its hard to say. Since its first out the gate before the Xbox whatever it will be called and PS4 I guess I would say yeah its next in this new generation of gaming within a six or seven year span which seems to be how long a "gen" lasts in console "freshness" :)
This is too funny. I wrote an article about this just a few hours ago. Irony I tell ya.
A larger "agenda"? What is that larger agenda? It has nothing to do with a PR piece it has everything to do with the fact that those kids ages 14-16 that were mentioned in the story and that were suffering from long hours, etc. were found at a facility working on WII U parts EXACTLY. And nothing else. Yes, I agree 100% that this has been happening across the board on other consoles, etc. as well. The whole idea or point of my article was to zero in on the fact that the facility t...
LOL! Good one. Too bad I left that one out. :(
Ok, so you both make great points. To each his own. That's why its called "opinion". Whether you choose to like it or not is your own choice. And, if you choose to let it bother you so much that you have to "rant" back then that's your choice too. *Disclaimer* Opinions stated in this article are not those of rantgaming.com.
I don't think Nintendo is giving a literal "slap in the face" but just another opportunity to enjoy Donkey Kong-just in a different form. However, they could bless the fanboys with the true arcade version (which would be awesome) but it's their call.
I mean...if it "wasn't" for the arcade version.
Actually, if it wasn't arcade version then Nintendo would have to had to rely on trying to sell a ton of unsellable Radar Scope machines (that was their first arcade cabinet game over here in the U.S. that did well for awhile but then became so annoying with its bleeps and other sounds that it annoyed arcade owners and so they pulled the machines out of arcades)that sat in a warehouse in New Jersey and over here in Washington state where I live. Miyamoto and his mentor at the time Gunpei...
I want to know 'officially' when the next X-box would be called 720? Has Microsoft divulged that information? Or is it just a codename that consumers and gamers came up with?
Yep. Your right. A "dedicated" gamer. Soooooooo...would a hardcore gamer own every single system? And, would they also be very rich? :)
Unfortunately your right. There has been so many awesome games that have been Japan only or elsewhere.
I don't know. A lot of the "hardcore" stuff is stuff that is already out or has been out on the Xbox 360 and PS 3 for awhile now and Nintendo is just catching up. Its like taking the same brand of crackers and changing the outside packaging. But, alas, they still have the same great taste. :) Although, things should be interesting with the game pad.
