But will it actually be a survival horror game?
"Saints Row 2 was seemingly confused about its identity. At the very least, it was unaware of the inconsistencies that were created by its rote plot and goofy diversions."
Why do people not understand you can be both serious and goofy(balance of both)? That's what a lot of people loved about the first 2 SR games.
They updated the controls/gameplay, but took out everything that made RE a horror game. I'm not sure why people just don't understand that?...
I liked the first 2 the best. The thing I wish the series did was either make a new IP for SR3/SR4 style or SR1/SR2 style
Resident Evil, oh wait....
I would love to see this and Uncharted come out at the same time during Holiday 2015.
There's always been indie survival horror, but I think it helping bring AAA horror games back
I would say The Last of Us.
Oh ok...I'll sit on this one for a few months to get some pre-RE4 fan reviews
One thing he does not mention is the atmosphere. I thought was good for the most part
I can understand why some people hate this game, but I don't have a problem and would actually recommend this game. People keep bringing RE4 into the conversation, this game is completely different. If you go in thinking like RE4 then you won't get past the first stage.
LOL I already knew where this was going after reading this:
"Many consider Resident Evil 4 to be an all-time classic (myself included)"
Chucky = NO
From Dusk Til Dawn = Vampire action game most likely
30 Days of Night = YES!
Cabin In The Woods = Probably like Until Dawn
Nightmare on Elm Street = No
Blaire Witch Project = It would probably be like Slender
I think its a fun game. Again if you never played it before then I say get it! I played through the game 5 times so far.
It's way different from other open world crime games. I can understand some people not liking it, but I think its a fun ride. I would recommend people who never played the game before to get the new version of it.
But this game isn't garbage though....
