I love the idea of a new GTA as much as anyone else, but when is the series going to go the MMO route--even if as a spin-off? That would make "GTA TV" cool, seeing tons of other players on it. I dont see the need for another gta when Saints Row is way over the top compared to gta. If it went MMORPG style, it would be doing something that people would be surprised to see.

Yeah Kinect functionality in ME3 is a joke--no motion controls, just voice. Will the PS3 version use a mic for the same functionality? If not, then it's obvious that Micro$oft paid for this "exclusive" feature in the 360 version.

Dude that is NO excuse. If multiplayer was not included, it should have been made very clear. This is a series known for MP (even in it's previous portable version). There should have been shiny red scratch-and-sniff stickers screaming that there is no online. I bet it definitely would've never sold a dime then. But Sony knew that, didn't they...and thus the reason why it was buried under the rug. Seriously, are you really that gullible that you would believe that excuse for why t...

Dead Space MP is the only big stretch that I can agree with. I enjoyed Bioshock 2's mp even if it's senseless when compare to the storyline. Dead Space's MP is really not all that necessary though. If I want 3rd person MP, i'll play Uncharted 3, Gears 3, Metal gear Online, etc. Dead Space online would've been better as a hordes mode (co-op) or a content creation (like making scenarios/maps and sharing them online like Portal 2, LBP2 or Infamous 2). The COMPETITIVE online i...

Ugh i'm tired of people who try to stiffle innovation like this article does. If you dont like the MP (Multiplayer) in a game, then dont play it. Simple as that. When they announced that Assassins Creed would have MP, everyone (including me) cried foul--but once we played the beta it was clear that it worked very well and was one of the best MP ever made. AC's multiplayer even won several awards. I welcome MP in games that dont specifically seem like MP would be fitting, as it causes ...

I really hope Hideo isn't just blowing alot of empty wind out of his mouth--we've been promised alot lately and been given nothing but concepts and that embarrassment called Rising: Revengeance (and i don't care if it will be "good", it just isnt a metal gear game). because of Rising coming in 2012, we may have to wait till 2013-2015 until we get a good stealth metal gear game. Why couldn't they make Rising have some kind of really FAST stealth (if they insist on spe...

Fantastic article Ninja! Most people notice these problems, but you went the extra step of getting the words right out of the director's mouth to PROVE that his agenda is all wrong. Great research. Can you edit your article and add the sources please? This article should be on every major gaming website. You should also write about the downfall of Resident Evil too.

COD is NOT even worthy of it's "M" rating. The only reason it gets a mature rating is because they insist on adding disturbing set-piece moments in their campaigns (like "No Russian" in mw2; and the little girl getting blown up in mw3). But the actual online component is no more violent than uncharted 3's online--and that game got a teen rating even though the uncharted games are about a treasure hunter who kills for no other reason than to accumulate treasure. Plu...

Take in the wisdom of these words:

Games of the Year:

-Action/Adventure: Uncharted 3 (or Arkham City)
-FPS: Battlefield 3
-RPG: Zelda Skyward Sword (Skyrim is a boring, barren /massive OFFline RPG)

-Brick award for biggest dissappointment (even if it sold a ton): Modern Warfare 3 (aka mw 2.5)

Now run off children, you've been enlightened

Don't mean to flame, but:
xbox = Halo, halo, halo (and a lil git of GoW)
ps3 = variety (lbp2, killzone, uncharted, ratchet & clank, heavy rain, tons of independent games on psn, etc).

Why cant Microsoft just let go of boring old halo and make something original? Try doing something useful with all that money and the kinect...

Okay, It's about time someone said this:

LOL I love how people wanna blame Enix for the failure of FF games. Enix is one of the most hardcore RPG makers, so if anything, Square is holding ENIX back. Enix's development on FF games is minimal to none--Square's staff is in control of Square franchises--while ENIX is in charge of games like Dragon Warrior/Quest. Square has fallen because Japanese culture has fallen. All they want is cutesy, teeny-bopper's in schoo...

Skyrims feels like a waste of time and life for me. It's long overdue that this series went online--not player vs player--but player(s) vs the environment (PvE) like Phantasy Star Online. This would allows us to combine resources, fight monsters together, and form plans for how we can each play separately YET come together again with things we can use to further the group. This game is TOO massive to be lone wolfing it. What is the point of doing fetch quests for a bunch of phony npc'...

Actually ALL three of you guys missed the point. Elder Scrolls Skyrim is more in the TRADITION of a modern mmo--even if Elder Scrolls series started before mmo's. Personally, I was disappointed that there were no interactive online elements--at least PvE (where I can grind for armor, points, money, etc) with friends online. But instead, I've got fetch quest after fetch quest, without any REAL people to interact with. It starts to feel like a real waste of time and life when I have to ...

I want them to "Nerf" INRV too--but the best way to do it is to not allow players to attach a silencer while using it. Problem solved. Why? Because every time they using it their position is given away on the map since they cant shoot without alerting enemy. Which in essence causes THEM to be as vulnerable as the people that they keep finding with their inrv. Finally, an additional nerfing option should be the inability to use it in an area where there is too much light. Light shoul...

Aaaaah, that makes sense now! NOW I know why some of the editors at ign accepted bribes from Activision to nerf the BF3 review by focusing on a campaign that one cares about. Hmmmmm....I guess that would also explain why they gave a piece of crap like MW3 favorable ratings even though it is recycled 4 year old trash. (And so what if they gave them the same score, MW3 is trash whether or not anyone likes BF3 also). Check the video link i provided below, and tell me that game deserved a 9.0.......
