I swear my 60g is constantly on since I bought it. 3.5 years, 4 hot summers-3 cold winters-folding at home marathons-constant gaming-p.s. home- web surfing (just watched three movies in a row FREE on tvshack.cc)-
I've had no issues (web browser frezzes alot. oh well). fan goes to high alot in the summer, still going strong. I love the reliability! And the games!
... in technical achievements, then 3 will be amazing! kz2's visuals( regardless of the developmental "cheats" used)are amazing, the 7.1 sound is amazing, the A.I. is amazing, the multiplayer top notch, the hit detection is spectacular, animations top notch! dont get me wrong, it had its flaws too.. the dialogue in single player was atrocious! loading between sections was broken, over all though, it will always be in my collection as a stellar game!
I remember playing ut3 and in the lobby it asked if you wanted ps servers or pc servers or both! Didnt it? its been a while since i've played! still remember the awesome sayings they said in game after the kills! " human flesh... ...it's makin me hunnngggryyyy!" CLASSIC!

They had a fire extinguisher right next to the display! hmmm... expecting some flames? explosions? thermal nuclear meltdowns?...
The reason there are so few "american" drivers is because of the carting scene in Europe and s. America! It is like little league here! Most youth in these parts of the world where the majority of pro-drivers come from start "karting" after 7-8 years old!
I bought a launch 60g ps3 because i knew i HAD to play mgs4, gt5, new team ico game-lg. those games i knew would only be on the ps3, so i got one with mptorstorm, oblivian, and resistance! i've never looked back. i have played my brothers 360 alot. so no need to buy one.
I feel kz3 was mentioned in the article for obvious reasons.. i.e. fps. but having played "extensively" halo 3 and killzone 2, kz3 will be the ferrari of games compared to reaches status as a fun but underwhelming "mass transit" shooter. the things kz2 does hasn't even been remotly challenged by any fps on consoles. everytime i play, the sound, the smoke, the debris, the hit detection, the animations, the lighting, the a.i. the maps, the weather with wind that affects ...
the game looks good, not "jawdropping". i saw a lot of "scripted" death anomations. not going into all the "tech" but kz3 tech- hell, kz2 tech is clearly light years ahead of this game!
Especially with such detail!
Say for fks sake that the '05 trailer was confirmed "in game" . Now in 2010 we have the final product + the " playable " bullet time " demo! and all " evidence " points clearly that kz2 surpasses the e3 footage by MILES! Should we as " gamers " really care if it wasn't "in game " ? It's better for fks sake !!!!!!!

I also love the synopsis for KILLZONE 2! IMHO kz2 will go down in history as a true gaming CLASSIC!

also, no p.c. counterparts on the list, true ps3 ONLY games that are worth every penny!
"We've had no issues with it, and the hardware and the libraries have come on well." - when the "move" developer said "NO" issues with it. that is a telling statement for me because imho, over the years of reading comments from them, they more often than not will say SOMETHING negative about new tech that they are working with. i.e. hurdles they have had to cross, etc... this guy says "no issues". Looks promising.
I dont get ansy for games very often. But, oh teah! This will be HIGHLY anticipated by moi!
play KZ2! New maps are AWESOME! BEACH HEAD is WICKED! the gun on top of the encampment near the beach, if you are an engineer and repair it, is soooo satifying, its surreal! Killzone 2 satifies MY fps fix entirely!
<on topic> mw2 is a good fps by what I have read,(I wont buy it for my own reasons), but there are alternatives.
