Really looking forward to this!
Great choices all around. Glad to see some under the radar games really get their due here.
None of Zero Galaxy's HDremakes have been arcade perfect. Hell they haven't even been Sega Saturn/Dreamcast quality control-wise. The Darkstalkers collection was ripped apart by fans of that series as was their version of SFIII.
Man, If I had to review all the shovelware and crap this guy has had to for the DS, I'd have trouble trying to think of good games for the system too.
Did you not read the article? It's ranking the winners their of Platformer of the Year. They've only been around since 2003, and all those games you named were far older than that.
He has every system ever made and he knows he's not going to ever be able to play all his games so he's trying to pare it down to things he knows he loves rather than just take up a ton of space collecting dust.
That's a lot of RPGs.
Disgaea for the win!
The fact this list is missing Max from Sam and Max automatically makes it a failure in my eyes.
That would be Night Warriors that you played. :-)
I do always wonder how much of a cross over there is between tabletop gaming and video gamers.
Come on Swamp Thing!
I love hearing about indie/small-dev games and Kickstarter has really helped to make it possible for their games to see the light of day.
I really hope this becomes a regular article.
Wow. Check out the temper tantrum the publisher is having about the review in the comments section. Hilarious.
I can't believe this thing isn't 100% funded already.
I would love to see a game that expands on the battle system here. Sure, it wouldn't be deep, but hundreds of Pokemon with their own moveset in real time? Awesome.
AT this point in their career, they've actually done more Naruto games.
