Next-gen just seems to be a continuation of this one. The Xbox will continue to become an entertainment hub and get the CoD audience while the PS4 will focus on ALL games.
Very true. But other companies have attempted to do that and have failed. It looks like Bethesda and Tango know what they are doing with this one though.

Judging by the abundance of AAA crap that's been released, there's clearly a disconnect between gamers and devs/publishers. Are you honestly surprised that devs/publishers are doing one thing while the general gaming public wants another?
Why do people have to get upset when a game gets good scores? Shouldn't we celebrate the success of a game? Who cares if lots of people enjoyed it.

This author doesn't really know what he's talking about. Activision does send games early...they probably didn't bother marketing this one b/c they know it's not that great.

I'll likely wait a year or so. I learned from the Wii U that a few months wait will result in awesome bundles. I don't mind waiting for the library of games to get a little more full. Though it'll be tough to see the next-gen PlayStation graphics and not be able to play it right away :(
