Well I have 3 friends with 360's and none of ours have broken and we bought them at launch. I guess that means a 0% fail rate!
It's not a random sample. It based on respondents who "chose to respond." If this was an accurate survey then we could assume around 70% of the 18 million or so 360's sold would have broken. Come on. And I think your comment belongs in the open zone.

Have they fixed the way PS3 downloads patches yet? I haven't downloaded one in a long time but I can't understand why you have to download it and then it has to do a separate install that takes almost as long as the download. The 360 just does it all at once. Come on Sony.

Nice update but I was hoping they'd fix the knife kills and close range shots. I'm sorry, but if you're 3 feet away from me and I lay a few rounds of 5.56 center mass, you are going down - kevlar vest or not. You surely will not be able to continue walking towards me unimpeded and stick your knife through my vest killing me instantly. Yet that happens all the time. They are nice but way overpriced. A Strat is much more versatile both musically and mechanically.
I agree with the immersion thing. I like COD4 and have played it a lot but the story is weak. Bioshock and even Resistand Fall of Man do a much better job.

You have to take in account we're talking about a % increase in growth. While the Playstation 3 was 7% more than the 360 it did have more room for growth as more 360's have been sold. It will be interesting to see how the year plays out. I've got em both and would have a Wii if I could find one :(
