Sone "done" the right thing? How about "did" the right thing?
The guy doesn't sound too bright. He managed to insult both Microsoft and Sony in his tweets.
@Abriael, for a folded quick start guide? Yes, a little bit.
You're using logic and that's not popular here ;) All these people praising Sony as "pro-consumer" are trying to have it both ways and are coming out as complete hypocrites...or mindless sheep. If anyone buys the PS4 because they think Sony is more pro-consumer they should immediately qualify for disability benefits because they clearly have one.
This is quite possibly the most ignorant article ever written. OK, maybe I'm going a little overboard there, but not nearly as much as the author. First, no one knows the true costs to manufacture and distribution per unit. They can be estimated but that's about it. Second, even if the numbers were correct, Sony is still a corporation and no corporation acts simply out of the goodness of its heart. There has to be a financial consideration or the company will no longer be able to...
Sorry, but you're in the minority by a very large margin. Only a very small fraction have "cut the cord" so to speak. TV is NOT on its way out.
Ha, you would think they'd stop complaining.
Well at least your reason is logical. If one console has more games you want then by all means get it. But all these other arguments for why people making their choices are just bananas.
Price and game offerings will be less competitive. All digital lowers the price. Status quo does not. Status quo keeps games at $60. I don't know why no one understands that.
That's valid, I'm just saying people aren't factoring everything in to the price difference.
Yes, thankfully someone else sees it. You've restored my faith in humanity! :)
It amazes me that someone disagreed with your 100% correct factual statement. Kids these days.
You're not buying either one, your parents are. You don't even have a job.
Yes, it's exactly like that. /s
I was going to buy both consoles just like I did last generation. I like video games and I like technology, so why not. But not anymore. There is no way in hell I will buy a PS4. Their community is filled with the most idiotic, vitriolic, obnoxious, spoiled whiners I have ever encountered. Their "arguments" lack any logic whatsoever and are purely hellbent on bringing down the XBox One. And why? To what end? Tell me exactly what that gets them? It certainly doesn't get them be...
No, but you don't have a girlfriend...just like you were never going to buy an Xbox One regardless of what they came out with ;) Sorry, couldn't resist.
At first I agreed with you on the whole forced to buy kinnect thing. I mean, I didn't get one last generation because I felt like it was more for kids. But the more I think about it the more I understand why they are including it with the XBox One. It's going to be a much bigger part of the experience and capabilities of the system now. And if they want developers and content providers to use it then it helps to be able to guarantee that every XBox One users has one and has it hoo...
Do the math people...it's $40 more, not $100. PS4 just sells their camera separately. XBox Live is much more developed than PS+ and that alone is worth $40 to me and many others.
Thank you for proving my point. Much appreciated.
Unbelievable. Talk about "drinking the Kool-Aid." Basically, Sony is preloading the ability to use its own add-on devices and that is praiseworthy news? They are not giving you anything!? And this article is full of gaps in logic:
"Of course, the first issue here is that you can't make use of the Playroom because it requires the combination of the DualShock 4 and the PlayStation Eye to work-and if you haven't bought the PS camera yet, you may not be able to ...
